So once youve got the card they cant suddenly stop giving you cashback after a year :P

Cancelled my barclaycard 2 years ago so this seems a good choice. Tempted :whistling:

Capital One have a mastercard which is paying 4% cashback for 3 months, then 1 %.
You can apply on line.
It says it's for new applicants only, but if you have an existing C1 card (maybe used for a previous great short term money back rate), they'll send a note asking if you want to cancel the old one.
Plus if you use say First Direct's consolidation service, it's on there (unlike GE Money for no apparent reason).
Cashbacks are getting scarcer and less value...if you pay off your card each month, you should take advantage, but accept you'll have to change perhaps each year.

I think the recent MSE article warned that one company gives low credit limits (BC IIRC).

there was some discussion of a higher cashback from baclaycard about 4 weeks back on the forum, but no one could get any solid facts for everyone to enjoy, when i spoke to the cs about cancelling my barclaycard they said wait till the beginning of august and you will see a good deal. dont think this deal is bad but am expecting something better within a week so keep eyes searching!!!

the apply now button is still not working!

worto.

You can apply via the site directly now, but not through the link.
