Not many offers around now but I thought 27 months which is two years and three months to be good and as an added boon you get £21 topcashback click here for the cashback if it pays out.
You can use this upto the whole 27 months. Some cards purchases have to be made within a certain time. Not good for balance transfers so therefore is not posted a deal for BT.

  • 0% interest on purchases for up to 27 months from the date you open your account
  • 0% interest for up to 27 months on balance transfers from the date you open your account (2.7% transfer fee applies). Transfers must be made within 60 days to benefit from the 0% offer
  • Exclusive savings on live events with Barclaycard Entertainment
  • TCB currently paying £21 cashback.
  • Lots of info from the direct link here
  • Eligibility check here

You will be credit checked and also if you have a barclays card already not sure if you can get this. So use eligibility checker first as that will tell you.

2:7 % transfer fee not a chance
How many years does 1 need to be in the country to apply? I've been here 2 years and it wont accept a non-UK address.
I think its 3-5 years depends on the bank?
Already have a Barclaycard which I've had 20 odd years. What's the chances I'll be accepted for this? Would like to take advantage of 27 months interest free period.

How on Earth will anyone on a deals site be able to tell you that?

Good deal. Only just last month i got the 20 month 0% balance transfer. The shorter the merrier imo. Living within my means and all of that and paying of my debt sooner.
I recently opted for 20 months with Halifax - 0% and 0% fee. Given £12k limit. Put 9K on there and will pay £450 a month. Put the capital towards some things we need for new house. Ok, it ain't 27 months but was perfect for me as basically a 0% loan. May help someone.

Sainsbury's and Clydesdale also have similar offers, maybe not as long, for those who already have a Barclaycard. Application is pretty long for Sainsbury's though, about a month.

Pretty sure that you can't apply if you already hold a Barclaycard or if you held one recently

No bank will give you an unsecured loan (that is what a credit card really is) without a local address. If you have been living here for 2 years, why can't you give your UK address?

Thanks for assuming that I don't have a UK address. But frankly 2 years isn't enough for most new Banks to give you a credit card. I do have a credit card BTW that I got the first week I landed here. Also I'm quite eligible for loans.

I think you're having a stroke. It's too painful for me to watch so I'm adding you to my muted-user list.

I have applied for mbna money transfer card 2 weeks ago and got accepted but heard nothing back since... when I tried applying again last week it said that I have applied and my first application is still under consideration.

Do these things take this long?
Thanks, OP. Accepted and given a £6.5k credit limit. I can't see whether I've been given the full 27 months 0% or if they've palmed me off with a shorter period; I suspect this will be shown on my monthly statement. £21 cashback and a couple of hundred quids worth of interest saved over the next two years as I use the cash I "save" to make overpayments on the mortgage.
