Completely agree-however this could be useful when wife comes down at 4am to find you passed out on couch with some of your fourth bottle left- it will still be fizzy when you eventually wake up and have it for breakfast...

We've got one of these. Can't tell you if it's any good though, as we've never found reason to use it yet!

More so with two small humans locked up with us all week!!
Ah I missed it !
Cheapest i can see now is almost £7 with prime on my account
No longer that price.
Don't know the science - but sticking a teaspoon (handle end down!) into the opening of an unfinished bottle/can of any sparkling or fizzy beverage stops it from going flat for 24 hrs ish

Don't know the science behind it? It's rather simple, there is none, that's an old wives tale.

I'm pretty sure this would also work on medical items such as Buckfast Tonic Wine...
Please don't judge...

Yes - it's a brilliant product to combat loneliness while self-isolating. Drink a couple of bottles and you will have plenty of people to talk to-yourself and your multiple personalities....

Well done. Shame there's nothing behind the idea. But if you believe it works for you...

Personally I use a stopper. I'm pretty sure that I've never had any audible release of pressure when I've taken a spoon out of a bottle of opened fizz the next day
I wonder what the difference is to make this a 'luxury' stopper, and an 'ordinary' one ?
