Technical Details
Charge 1, 2, 3 or 4 batteries in 15 min. Independent charging channels
Ultra flat design for easy carrying
4 AA Uniross 2300 mAh batteries included

I got one before Christmas, from my experience this charges any rechargable mAh batteries in 15 mins, it doesn't charge them to the max in 15 mins but they are ready to go. for 15 mins it blinks fast, then for approx 45 mins it blinks slow then when the batteries are full it automatically stops blinking so I think that means it knows they are done. I have tested the batteries with a tester after charging and they are indeed all full. To get this at the amazing price of £11.99 make your order upto £15 it's better than paying postage , however even with postage this is a real bargain.

yeah i noticed that, i added 4 more batteries to the order (2300 mAH) so if its wrong when it comes i'll be complaining.

also don't forget to check back within 30 days to check if the price has gone down, if it does you can claim the difference back (that was posted on these forums a week or so ago, i got a nice refund)

Thats what I thought.

Note its around two weeks for delivery on this charger.

lol ya think this charger can get any lower in next 30 days :-)

you never know, but if it jogs someones memory for purchases made for xmas then its worth the comment, might even get me some rep!!!

[edit: just checked another of my recent purchases (the hannsG 19" monitor) and its gone up in price since i bought it!!]

What's the difference between this charger and the other charger ]Uniross … What's the difference between this charger and the other charger ]Uniross Sprint 1 Hour Battery Charger that's £16.49?

price and it's a quicker charger, but with the 1 hour charger you get 2700 batteries I think they last a bit longer before a recharge but with a 15 min charger who cares:whistling:

Thanks OP, bagged myself one, have about 30 AA rechargeables in various toys around the house. Thomas tank trains especially energy sapping. Normal chargers take ages especially for the 2500 mA ones.

Does the Uniross AA 2700mAh (4) Rechargeable Battery Ni-Mh work with this charger?

I haven't tried them but I have tried others i.e the FiF batteries 2100 from Aldi at £1.99 for 4 (Expired) and they work great.

Sorry, i meant to say does the higher capacity batteries e.g. 2700mAh work with this charger?

check this out:whistling:

It will charge all rechargable AA's but will take longer to charge higher capacity batteries such as 2700, maybe take up to half hour for these.

Thanks for this BargainBinMan Also edi for the pointer at how Amazon are hiding their own links :pirate: Theirs is now the third "Add To Basket" button down [moved again].

I got one of these from Costco about a year ago and although i've never known it to charge anything in "15 minutes" it does charge a lot quicker then your standard charger.

This charger only charge AA? No AAA?

It charges both AA and AAA Batteries

I got one of these a few months ago and they do not take 15 minutes. My one takes about 1-2 hours every time?

Mine seems to charge to around 65% in 15mins and is full within the hour, I haven't tested it scientifically though.

I would highly recommend this charger, It must be good because I haven't sent it back?????

Not bad price to get your free delivery

i have one of these chargers, but unfortunately it has not always been good to me.... i have used quite new rechargeable batteries with it and had to chuck them away after they started leaking...... also it sometimes refuses to recharge some of the batteries i have, so have to use an older recharger that i have lying around......

but when it works it is good, and very quick.....

Anyone else used directfoto? I'm after some AAA batteries for this charger but Amazon is selling the Uniross for just over £9.

I was deciding between the 2 (1hour vs 15 minutes) and I actually ordered the 15 minutes one but I cancelled the order and got the 1 hour.

Although the 15 min one has a cooling fan but I think it will push high power and might ruin the batteries or wont work properly with all batteries. The down side with the 1 hour is how you have to charge them in pairs (that's from the manual but crazylegs who owns this says that he charges single batteries), but most electronic devices uses pairs of 2 now.

The 1 hour seems like a safer option especially that it has been tested for 18 months (by skdotcom) and it is working well (That's an opinion based on "my own" engineering common sense

Please remember .... with great powers comes great responsibility :-D

Check Maplin for batteries - I picked up four Uniross AA 2500Mahs with two 700Mah AAAs for 7.49, half price.

I picked up a Uniross charger for 16 quid with four 2500Mahs from Currys, can't remember what the advertised time is (they all show the lowest capacity charge time it seems) but it does 2500Mahs in 85 minutes which isn't too bad.
