Bargain Flights from Birmingham to Peru (Lima) @ Travel Trolley

Found 14th Aug 2015
Bargain flights from Birmingham to Peru with KLM - dates in February 2016. Note the Inca Trail is closed in February though for maintenance but you can still visit many of the gorgeous attractions of Peru. Some of my favorites aside from the obvious Inca Trail/MP:

- Nazca
- Huacachina
- Ballestas Isles
- Arequipa

Screen shots to follow.

If you struggle, try putting the dates into Skyscanner first - still shows up for me and I can get to the payment screen of Travel Trolley.

FYI Also try momondo.co.uk which shows up the cheap flights via Travel Trolley if you can't get them direct, still showing 1st-23rd February.

Careful. I booked Edi to Rio for £260 with Traveldolley recently. They contacted me the following day with the excuse there was an administrative error, despite this coming to their attention weeks before for same flights from Glasgow. These will also likely be cancelled.

I've since booked elsewhere for similar dated flights later in the year for just over £400 return (Edi - Rio) which I'm more than happy with.

Not voting but do beware of this company who I definitely will not use again.

If anyone books let me know if it gets honored, could be a glitch, stranger things have happened though. I am flying to Brazil/Chile over Xmas and New Year and that was just under £190 return.

Hi there I noticed this price a few days ago on skyscanner as i have been looking to go to Arequipa for a while.. Ideal as im based near BHX, what dates were you using or price were you able to achieve for Arequipa? Thank you

It's Lima, not Arequipa! Use Avios miles to fly cheaply if you have them, you'll easily find availability with LAN on BA Exec Club, that's what I did, it's dirt cheap to use them over South America.

As a guide BA Exec have availability with LAN 4500 Avios and just £6 around 7 flights a day in February. Similarly Lima to Cuzco same number of Avios and £ and around 7 flights a day.

Ah i see, I was unable to find Arequipa for under £250 and thought you might have.. Using the EQ 2x does open up several other destinations for a similar price.. Although a more complex construction.. Bookable not just on Travel Trolley but several other OTAs Thanks for the additional info regarding Avios too!

Indeed, various different combos available. I'm not sure HUKD is ready for the language and complexities of Flyertalk and FDing techniques just yet though, leaving from any airport outside of the UK sets off all sorts of 'it's not a UK deal' comments. Good to see you over here.....

Mules?

I've found a lot better deal than this to Peru.... Free flights and accommodation and £10,000 in cash if I bring a friend a suitcase back for him.

Managed to book this, then had an email asking me to make urgent contact. Subsequently they cancelled the ticket on the basis that the flights were not 'compatible'!!!!

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear this. Unfortunately sometimes these things happen. Did you have the e-ticket or were able to check your booking on the airline? I know on other sites people have had these honoured to you may have just been unlucky.

Strange things is, its still bookable ao I'd just book it again, if it was an error they should have removed it!

Still available?

Original Poster

Yep is here, try various booking agents, if these dates don't work try others. It's hit and miss but varying availability until end of Feb.

Rachelandgromit did you book this? Did you have any issues such as I had?
Debating whether to try and rebook then today

Original Poster

No, I didn't. Had no leave left and spent 3 and a half weeks in Peru not too long ago. Try anothrt booking agent rather than Travel Trolley if you can, look on Momondo.
