Bargain price on Jumbo pack of AA and AAA batteries £5.99 @ Maplin

Maplin are having their grand closing down sale and they seem to have over discounted just one of the various battery bundles that they sell.

You can get 30AA+20AAA long life batteries for the same price as they sell 24AA (yes, you read that right) and the same price as 12AA+8AAA in a bundle.

The larger pack they sell of 40AA+20AAA(only 10 extra batteries) is double the price at 11.99.

Check stock at your local branch and grab them while you can - or you can even get them delivered. - 5.99 for 50 batteries is 12p a battery!

You can't have them delivered for that price as it's min spend of £10 for free delivery unfortunately. Adds £2.99 if you try to checkout less than £10 Guess you could buy two packs but I don't need that many.

Still good price aside from that....
The same batteries have now dropped to 5.99 (they were 6.99) so a little better

Cracking, nearly as good as £4.99 they were about a month or so back.

Thanks have ordered. Collection in store should also give 10% discount for students too. Will see tomorrow.
Thanks I got the last one in the wigan store

edit: turned out there was more on the shelves that it showed online. I also ended up picking up 3 large project boxes and 2x 12v dc fans for about 26 quid
