This is another drink that got sweetenered to death.
According to Barr's website:
Contains
Carbonated Water, Acid (Citric Acid), Flavourings, Sweeteners (Acesulfame K, Sucralose), Concentrates (Carrot, Hibiscus), Preservative (Potassium Sorbate).

So at least no Asparatme.
They have been selling these for some time at Poundland, however, you get 4 cans (mix and match if you want to) for £1 - we usually get the cans of Cream Soda to go with our weekly visit to the fish and chip shop after my son's swimming lesson.
As already said, these are 4 for a £1 in poundland
No offence op and i'm not voting either way but they are killing their business all these drink companies, even before the sugar tax came into effect they messed with the formula, Tizer for instance now tastes like battery acid!

I've actually seen more people buying full sugar stuff like Coke/pepsi than the diet option, all its doing is costing jobs in the long run as people wont buy it anymore.

Barrs have changed the recipe of this and all of their other drinks too, including IRN BRU. It all tastes rotten now. I wish they would just increase the price for the sugar tax and give people a choice to buy the full sugar version

Love the detail. I can picture the scene.

True, but for the casual buyer who likes the taste of the real stuff un-spoilt by fake sugar it's a big let down, they never had many diet drinks when I was a kid and i'm not 40 stone with diabetes or rotting teeth for that matter, just trying to point out that they are ruining what were great tasting drinks, i'd rather them just rid of it all instead of making stuff with other alternatives resulting in different taste.
Cream soda in rhubarb gin tastes just like rhubarb and custard sweets!

And on the 'diet' V 'full fat' question - I am in total agreement with the argument that I am an adult and can make my own decisions about my sugar consumption. I don't want a drink full of chemicals, that tastes nasty and gives me horrendous 3 day migraines (aspartame). We never had 'diet' or 'sugar free' drinks when I was a kid - my parents controlled our consumption of sugary drinks and we had them as a treat, not a regular thing. And like other commenters, I am neither obese or diabetic and I have all my own, nice white teeth....
Give me back my nice (safe!) drinks and my choice!
Why don't they do diet

Doubtful.

There is actually some evidence you're more likely to get diabetes drinking diet pop than full-sugar pop.

Or it's at least as bad.

One article from a right wing newspaper does not “trump” years of evidence that sugar causes diabetes I am afraid.
