not many, if any kids use this site, its down to us parents to decide what our kids eat, it is a good deal, as the likes of sugary stuff is fine in moderation.

Nice price.I love sherbet.I used to love spaceships too...

i dont think any kids use this site that was not my concern i know as a parent when i buy these products you cant hide them from the kids and if they are of a certain age like mine very hard when there in the house and kids dont stop asking for sweets also in term of sugar it is very damaging to humans in fact one of the worst in many ways. Lots of products contain natural sugars already which is ok but sustained consumption of sugary items will lead to type 2 diabetes of which there is an explosion of with the current trend of diet

No offence taken - i think if you read my post you will see i said it was me that likes them.

As a moother, i am sure like you, i care about my kids and am very careful what they eat and what they are shown on tv etc - any sensible parent is the same.

Because a supermarket has these on offer doesn't mean my kids eat them all I am trying to point out good deals - not eat everything in the supermarket !

If you are saying we shouldn't post anything that taken in excess can be harmful half the posts on here wouldn't be allowed - beer, violent dvd's, fighting games, puddings, meals out etc......

I think we are all adults and i assume we taken the deals useful to us and use them.

I take it you are sensible enough to do the same for your children.

my girls are 12 and 16, trust me they use this site to look for many bargains
, and whats the big deal of this, god i love these so much and i know someone who an person who is over 60 was told by his dr to have one of these a day for give him some iron.(liquice) he has had one for now 9 years running and still has all his teeth.
i also was at tesco last night and got this deal BECAUSE I LIKE THEM. i dont drink, i dont smoke, i dont go out so what is the harm
and my 12 year old is a diabetic and pointed this deal out to me but she knows what damage it can do to her if she has one,
kids are bright these days and have more knowlage than we do as parents

in terms of adult items such as beer dvd's fighting games they are for adults and kids dont expect to have those items thats not what i was saying but in term of sweets children know they can have them, as childrens intelligence is a lot higher than what we give them for they know what they can and cant have. For me i find it much easier if its not in the house they know and dont ask

You need to do whatever suits your family Hun. In my house sweets go in a basket in the top of the cupboard - the little ones don't even know whats in there unless i get it down to give them something out of it.

Maybe its just because its the way they have always been treated - but my little ones know sweets and chocolate are treats and don't badger me for them. They have them - on a regular basis as a treat, along with more than their 5 a day in fruit. They eat loads of fruit and veg (sprouts included!) and i can honestly say we have no problem with it in our house.

Obviously we know they are there- that takes more willpower ( ) but i don't buy everything i post on here - neither do you i assume otherwide you would have 20 wardrobes in your house

I am an adult, qualified nurse and teacher - so i am aware of the issues with too much of anything - but if you are sensible it is not a problem- i can assure you (in our house anyway )

ps. The post wasn't aimed at kids as i thought it was adults who usually used the site.
you just need to use the same sense you gave for the beer / dvd comment.

i did say in my first comment that is was not personal nothing said about advice about bringing up children yours or mine and if you want to use emotions tried to put a positive remark against supermarkets usually only putting cheap sugary foods on offer all the time and we who have the purchasing power should dictate what we want to buy. So if these foods are posted by us we are saying great give us rubbish food offers where as if the more heatlthy foods were posted and purchased by us might show them we are fed up of rubbish foods on offer and put some decent ones on offer too thats all i meant, as you seem to go on personal issues i wont bother again thank you

It wasn't taken perosnally, as i said - i was trying to explain why i posted it. There are loads of offers for decent food in supermarkets too - they are often posted ?

I almost always use emotions in my posts - if you look at any i've made - don't think it was anything personal aimed at you.

You went abit OTT imo, Lucerysmum just posts deals it's upto the individual if they want to buy 100 of everything she posts, she doesn't have any control over that.
