Like most petrol garages, you can't buy things online!!
Try heading to a garage to get more success!

cold not online

Well...I'd like to avoid scratching the paintwork, so I'll do it myself.

Heat though OP for anyone who prefers this option.

Nice thanks op

Nice price tyvm.
Off there now before it starts to rain again!

Voted hot, because it's a Hot Deal - and that's what this site is for. But I would never put either of our cars through a car wash. I may be totally OCD'd in this, but this is where I'm at! detailingworld.co.uk/

Was thinking of washing mine myself today, think for a quid I'll save myself the bother!

Hot deal

However, I have a problem with garage car washes, I have a lip over the top of my rear window (hatchback) and the sensors hit it and miss half the back of the car for some reason.

voted cold as i dont have a car.

Lol

It would cost me more than a quid just to drive to our nearest Shell station, where the carwash has been out of order for as long as I can remember. I hose the Jag down when it is carrying enough mud to affect the handling, but washing a car for aesthetic reasons is a mugs game.

hope they use the two bucket method

Lol happy as a pig in sh**

Cue the 3 page detailing thread.....clay bars bla blaa blaaa..

Clay bars....If only things had stopped there. But clay bars were just the start...... snow foam, tar removers, dual action polishers.... the list goes on.

Lost the house, the job, the wife, the kids (the dog stayed with me - until I couldn't pay for both wax and dog food - then it left too). But you should see the shine on my car - not a hologram to be found - totally scratch free - can use the door as a mirror. Can't afford petrol, tax or insurance, but at least I've got a roof over my head - the shiniest 1997 Ford Fiesta roof you'll ever see.

(NB - nothing of the above is to be believed. It is my day off, It's my birthday, I'm bored - and I just wish the rain would go off so I can nip out and check no bird poop has landed on my admittedly very shiny car over-night! (and give it a wee once-over with a quick detailer spray ) (NB - I don't have a Ford Fiesta - that bit was made up too!)

Great price so voted hot, but I would rather pay the local Romanians £3 / £5 to get a proper job done... these automated carwashes never do a good job of the wheels and extremities of the car....

lol I have not washed my car in 6 years I must just do this

NOT NATIONWIDE, £2.99 IN TOTTENHAM oO
Edited by: "shy74037" 1st May 2013

Cheaper than getting the kids to do it + probably a better job too

I've been to 10 shell garages as part of work in 3 different counties and its £1 for the basic wash.

either miss part of the car or slam down onto it after getting 'mixed up' as to where the car is. An age old problem for car wash machines i'm afraid. After 11 years of watching cars getting damaged in them i'd probably only send my worst enemy to use one

Exact same. Heat because it's cheap but I'd never torment any car with an automatic car wash nor a £3 those hand wash places that have popped up everywhere

I have a Jaguar V8, a Jeep Cherokee, a Citroen Xantia and a Nissan Micra. All are over ten years old and 100k miles. The Micra is my favourite to drive, but has a brake issue at the moment.

But you may believe whatever you like.

Interesting punctuation.

Besford

Interesting punctuation.

She stole my English as well!

price is good but i don't trust auto car washes... waiting for BP to come back with their top wash - that was nice!

tried 2 near me in north London, basic washes were 2.99 and 3.99, so not nationwide.
