Hand picked in China I think you'll find. Nowhere near as strong as the Lidl Spanish garlic.

£69.00, jeez that must be quality garlic.

At the very least you can leave it on your window ledge to keep vampires away

It works.

I know. I've had some on my window for years and NEVER seen a vampire.

Is that not just the merchant?

Any good recipes that use a LOT of garlic? (apart from garlic mushrooms/bread)

You can peel the papery skin off the whole bulb of galic, cut off the top to expose the individual cloves and roast it, sprinkled with a bit of olive oil for about half an hour.
The garlic goes soft and mushy and the taste mellows so it's quite sweet. Squeeze out the pulp and spread it on warm crusty bread. Yum

Blimey! Didn't realise there were so many Swindoo hukder's!

Good Price too!

This is ideal for when the other half starts to feel frisky! :w00t:

I think this is wrong. Its actually the placing of the Garlic in a cold environment, (like the Fridge) that starts the Gremination process. To keep Garlic at its best just keep it in a cool place, like the basket these come in outta the sun ect.

Correct. They're not refrigerated in the shop are they?

No, that are kept on the shelf. I bought a basket of them and to be honest the majority of them are small, under developed and difficult to peel. But I'd still say they are worth 69p. I'll just half the little one's and stuff them inside Chickens or when I make a Stock etc.
