The castle is besieged! hordes of monsters gather near the ancient walls and are about to smash open the castle gates. Mountain giants trample the fields, fire riders burn the surrounding settlements, and the ice Dragon has nested on top of the Citadel tower, horrifying the minds of the inhabitants of the bastion. Only a squad of stubborn heroes stands between the enemies and their ultimate victory. Bastion is a cooperative castle defence game set in the berserk universe, with 1 to 4 players taking on the roles of magical castle Defenders. The castle is located in the centre of the game board and is menaced by a great variety of invading enemies: dangerous beasts, ferocious warriors, terrible monsters, giants, Mages, and even mighty dragons. Bastion is a cooperative adventure: you either defend the city by concerted efforts or it will fall under the pressure of the attacking hordes. Bastion is a highly customizable and replaceable game. There are several scenarios and difficulty settings in the rules, along with the Solo mode.

Is this poor man's castle panic?
Ha. He says the same in the first 40seconds.
Heat added, thanks

Just looked and it is £37.19 at Zatu Games.

Zatu Link
looks identical to castle panic, i'll have to watch the review when i get home - worth a pick up for this price if it's any good.

need some sub-30min or easy to pick up card-based games so i can indoctrinate some friends

Sushi Go! worked for me.

Edit: saboteur also works well in that time frame but need 5 minimum and a relatively big space to play. You can play with 3-4 but it doesn't really work as well.

Henchmania looks like a bargain; £7.99 direct from shop4world (free postage using code), or from xbiteworld via ebay.

For that price I very much doubt it's the Kickstarter deluxe edition, but reviews are favourable.

Worth noting the BGG rating is lower than it should be due to distribution issues with the KS campaign leaving a lot of unhappy folks.

Not for me though.... I've got enough unplayed games already =/

Skull King is a fantastic card game that is so simple to pick up and play.

yeah i need to bag the sushi go party pack and lost in ry'leigh sometime, i'm just bloomin' awful at hidden role games like resistance/avalon/that murder clue one.

all these lovely board game deals will turn something up i just don't want to add to the pile of shame after derping £140 on backing giant killer robots on kickstarter and playing it once (damn good looking models though, keeping myself the hell away from the district 9 kickstarter by same guys)

Haha I was looking at district 9 one yesterday. Backed 3 this year though so no more...

Can anyone confirm it comes with the miniatures shown on the back of the box in the images? The earlier videos on youtube seem to be cardboard cutouts instead of actual figures
