That's what I was thinking that these types of things are false economy.
Have had two chrome rads one had for 7 years and present for 5 years no rusting from B and Q , so that might be the way to go.
Screwfix has a chrome 700 x 400 on offer for £26.89 and actually have three in stock in my local... screwfix.com/p/f…726

Had one similar that rusted too!
Yes, I've seen both chrome and painted radiators rust. Think chrome is likely to be better though as long as you use a soft scourer to take of any rust when you see it. Problem with chrome is that rust tends to appear near the joints which are the hardest to clean. The white painted (or is it actually epoxied?) I saw rusting, rusted under the paint/epoxy and by the time you saw that it was well spread already - not that it would be easy to patch paint it since I would guess that getting such a smooth finish is hard without stripping the whole thing.
We had something similar fitted five years ago and were advised by the installer to fit a towel rack above it so the wet towels didn't actually rest on the radiator. No sign of peeling or rust - yet!
I bought a chrome version from the same seller last year when I re-fitted the bathroom.
It's brill for the price (only cost £24.99) and really helps keep the bathroom warm.

Don’t be so selfish the people in radiator factory must eat too!
Towel radiators that you can't put towels on I case of rust........What's the bleeding point......:/
They look great, but are a bugger to clean and wipe any condensation off. I obsessively clean the one in my bathroom. Great price tho

Just saw this one too, in store only.
Nothing says "Travelodge" like a white towel rail. Eww.
got this one from screwfix and it looks lovely on the wall had it in for a month now and no stains etc from having towels on it FLOMASTA FLAT LADDER TOWEL RADIATOR CHROME only £26.89 reduced from £131.99 and good reviews going back a way too.
Keep in mind that these smaller towel radiators are almost always used to supliment an existing radiator and not to keep a room warm. Something that is extra important in a bathroom with it generally being a damp area.

A typical 3x2meter bathroom needs around 1600 btu to heat, This towel radiator provides less than 1000, so if you're going to use this to replace an existing traditional radiator do try to ensure that it's going to produce enough heat for the room and not just your enough to keep your towels warm.

Unless you're lucky enough to have exact size replacement for your existing radiator, it's probably not going to cost you anything additional to plumb this towel radiator next to your existing radiator.
