I just got batman game of the year for 19.99 due to them stickering up the new version for sale instead of the non game of the year, this may be moved to misc but some people may find it stickered wrong and benefit.

Am on iPhone so can't add pics so if someone could then great, will post pic of rexiept later for my proof, I know this is very limited and may not be found elsewhere but worth the heads up in case your in town and want to check!!

For what system?
The PC version is sub £20 anyway, so it's worth mentioning what this price is for mate

Sorry ps3 am out and about so hard to type

The next thing people will want to know is which branch

More than likely a one-off in a single branch, plus they don't have to honour the price anyway.

As I said probAbly better in misc as an off chance offer, and they do have to honour it if it is stickered up at a certain price!

Not true I'm afraid, lots of people think it is though!

Which branch did you see this? Other members near to your local may be able to take advantage of the deal if they can get to the store

the retailer is offering you a chance to but an item, they have the right to refuse any sale as it is only an offer to buy and not a contract. most stores honour misprices as a gesture of good will.

Google Invitation to Treat, may give you a surprise or two.

They could get into trouble with trading standards if they mislead consumers on price, which is where a lot of the confusion over this subject comes from. Mispricing something and purposefully misleading consumers are two different things but a lot of people think they're the same.

As you say though, it's only an offer; the contract is formed once money is exchanged.

The manager at my local game store refused to honour it even though it has the sticker on that says £19.98.
