Well I just signed up for GMG as this offer was too good to miss out on and somehow managed to purchase this through Paypal without using the code.....

On their page it states "If the game is not a pre-purchase, we are unfortunately not able to provide you with a refund as we cannot refund any keys which have been delivered – for this we apologize."

What.An.Idiot...

EDIT: GMG have placed £1.75 credit in my account. Not quite the same as a refund, but a damn sight better than nothing. Great customer service!

Thanks but I couldn't use the code as I had already used it to get the GOTY edition of Arkham Asylum so used GMG25-CZPYL-D5MQ6 instead and got it for £3.75 which is still a bargain.

Suffice to say; heat added!

I can't be bothered to sift through the pages, but GFWL isn't all that bad. The game comes with a 5 machine limit drm which can easily be revoked using the Securom Diagnostic Tool. Note that you can only revoke it a set number of times per machine I believe (10 I think). The game's are simply awesome.

I bought Arkham Asylum in a similar deal probably a couple of years ago, and still not got round to trying it. For some reason I decided to get this too as the price seemed too good to pass up on. Another entry to my growing list of games I haven't got time to get round to playing

Still downloading lmao 17GB im glad ISPS dont do capped monthly downloading anymore lol cause ive downloaded about 100GB from steam this month lol

Rather strangely, it is installing separately to the copy of AC I already had on my Steam account. I thought it would just add the DLC to that.

It's still has extra DRM as well as Steam unfortunately. It uses the limited number of activations plus GFWL on top of Steam.

GOTY edition is definitely worth it. Got it on Steam a few weeks back and it's brilliant.

GFWL is still a big pile of fail though.

Stonkingly good deal. One of the most polished games I've ever played and despite losing points for using the terrible GfWL they get them back for optimising for the PC. The story gets lost a bit by being more open than Asylum but it's worth it for the considerable number of extra hours play you'll get out of this.

I just traded in the base version on ps3 for a fiver this morning. I'm seriously tempted to grab this and play through the DLC as well. I assume the pc version supports Xbox controllers? Hot deal, regardless.

I already have this through EA Origin, BUT, GMG gave away some games a while ago (completely rubbish ones) managed to trade them in, got myself some credit and also used a different code ( GMG25-CZPYL-D5MQ6 ) as already used the Winter Survey code, and got Arkham City GOTY for 62p! - Bargain!

Awesome price glad i waited... 3 quid for over 30 hours entertainment over xmas... I'm in !
