Great price. Really tempting.

Beat me by 8mins. Heat added.

Anyone know if there are any fakes around for these? Was thinking of ordering one from China

Can you have enough of them? Price for the charging hub has also come down (£28.76 instead of £39) on Amazon.co.uk

I wouldn't risk a 1k drone by using a fake battery.

First off any crash with it would be out of warranty (if it turned out to be a fault with the device) due to having a dodgy battery.

And do you really want to risk a sudden poweroff or battery falling out mid flight?

Really don't understand why someone would pay 1k on a drone but skimp on the batteries.

Me either, quick way to have a 1k paperweight (if they can find it).

I meant I wanted to order a battery from China, not a fake. Just wanted to know if there were fakes about so I can avoid China and maybe order from an authorised seller. If there are no reports of fakes about, I'm guessing theres no problem ordering from China. Places like Gearbest, Banggood or TomTop

There is also a chance you get stung by import/customs tax

Most of these sellers mark items down. Shouldn't be a problem with a small box like this.

Hot! as its a good UK Price, but Gearbest is £56 delivered using code RC18OFF at the moment if you want a big money saving and can afford the wait.

Any amazing landscapes in the UK to fly the Mavic? Finding it a bit difficult to fly here in London with a lot of no-fly zones

I am also battling to find places, London is a dead zone and the Richmond Park fly park isn't the most eye catching area.
Also tough when you don't have a car! Else would say heading down the coast and just driving, something has to come up ecventually
