Pack of 4 battery operated LED tea light candles.
Each candle requires one CR2032 Battery (included).
They've a "flickering flame" effect (not great but OK).

May be useful for use in pumpkins (or turnips if you're "old school"!) - particularly for younger kids as it avoids the

risk of burnt fingers. However, it might not be quite the same without the smell of burnt pumpkin / turnip ...

Although similar ones are about £5.89 on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Operated-chirstmas-anniversary-birthday-occasion/dp/B000MFWF38)
I suspect that they're about £1 in other discount stores ...

I bought them at the new B&M store in Queensferry, North Wales (near the Lidl + B&Q), but as they were this price on the end of an aisle (rather than a 'discount stickered' item) I suspect that this will be nationwide.

Main reason for posting is to highlight the new store - as it's not even showing in the store search on the website yet (it only opened Thu 30th Sep 2010).

Just a qucik "Thank you" to whoever put the image in ...

These do not give out any light to speak of - they would be truly awful in a pumpkin/turnip.

They work well enough on their own where they can be seen (they are no good for illumination).

And there is absolutely no substitute for the smell of burning turnip ..... ;-)

Thanks for the update. I've tried them in a "home made" paper lantern and they were OK - though I have to admit I've not actually had the chance to try in a pumpkin yet.

They had them in the St Helens B&M so probably nationwide

tacky?

Maybe - but still alot cheaper than I could find them online ... and something worth considering if you've younger kids and they want to have a candle in a pumpkin / turnip.
