Amazon is cheaper, often around £3 delivered and I got one off there for less than £3 earlier this year.

I doubt it's the same kind. If you mean this one:

It doesnt have a nice digital display. I know which one I think looks better.

You don't need a digital display to tell you whether a battery's dead or alive

The digital display looks more accurate, it has 0.1V graduations. It's a good price, dont see how you can neg this tbh. Very petty. 2 year warranty too.

I tend to re-use batteries my camera tells me are dead in my LED torch. they still last quite a while. So it's good to be able to test the ones I have lying around.

I have this one.
I don't like it much.
A little awkward to use.
Or maybe I've just had too many donuts. (_;)

Good deal though.
Think it was £4.99 when I got mine.

If you want accuracy, get a multi meter. I got one for about £3. It'll test any size of battery.

How do you test the battery that the tester needs?oO

Got one today, comes with an AAA battery and works really well.
