Been playing this on lads account as I have tried the Xbox Call of duty …Been playing this on lads account as I have tried the Xbox Call of duty WW2 beta and it is very poor (Bf1 RIP off) and it's funny how the cod community complain about campers but it's what a lot of people on the beta are doingAny way heat added as it's a disc

It's nothing like BF1 in terms of gameplay. If it was ripping anything off I would say it was World at War which isn't a bad thing.

Heat as it's a good price for a hard copy if that way inclined. However, I imagine it won't be milked as much as BF4 so guess you could just subscribe to EA access and get it along with loads of other games; Titanfall 2, Mirror Edge Catalyst, UFC2, Battlefied series etc etc

Watched gameplay vids of it, that was enough for me, another CoD fail imo, dead IP

If you don't have much time for gaming and/or kids definitely, used to buy on release back in the day but now use ea access for games. If you want to play on release then no.

£18 a year for the catalogue put ms game pass to shame.
Cold. I already own this game.
cheers

Is EA Access worth it?

i've just this afternoon subscribed to it, and I'm sitting downstairs watching the TV instead of being on my Eggbox. It is because I wanted to play Titanfall 2, and I've got to wait for 68 Gigabytes to download...

And I thought the Halo MCC was big...at least that's sort of justified in that it's four complete games!

Anyway, I'll let you know Monday what I think about EA access, it might have just finished by then.

That answers a bit irrelevant is it not? Waiting for a 68GB game to install has nothing to do with EA access being worth it or not.

For people asking, yes EA access is worth £20 a year for all the content you get. If those games are your taste of course.

You can still play other games whilst its downloading... Game sizes will only get bigger with 4k etc... #1stworldproblems

Oh come on, COD: WW2 tries to rip off this game just like the last couple of COD games have ripped off Titanfall. The WW2 beta was a piss poor attempt even by COD standards tbh.

The young folk still seem to love it but at this point it holds about as much interest to me as FIFA and Madden. Ive played a lot of multiplayer BF1 over the last year and WW2 just felt like garbage by comparison.

It's not irrelevant as the alternative (buying the games on disc) would not require as much downloading. For those on limited bandwidth or limited quota, this download size actually makes EA access very poor value. If you're stuck on 40Gb a month (which I think is one of Sky's offerings) that means you can download one game every 1.5 months. So even if you like the content, you can't access it.

Far too many services nowadays assume high bandwidth and/or unlimited quota.
Amazon seem to have price matched at £17.99 on Prime with same day delivery available

Do you expect EA to send subscribers the discs for all the content? If you have a monthly cap for your internet then that is not EA's fault. You subscribed knowing you would have to download the games, perhaps you could have checked the file size for games before subscribing?

One of the best things I've purchased for 18 quid . It depends on how you game. I'm past getting games on launch day after years of disappointment so it suits me. Plus I have a huge backlog of purchases to get through.
Fifa 17 was added by the end of April so 7ish months after launch. Battlefield 1 hasn't even been out a year I don't think.

Games bought on disc still need patches. Some are 20gb plus.

Battlefield 1 only came out October 18th and Titanfall 2 was October 28th of last year so I agree, amazing how quickly they came to EA Access!

Shush, WWII is obviously a follow up to WaW, Advanced Warfare and the first Titanfall were in development at the same time so how can either of us prove who copied who?

That's easy, CoD copied Titanfall. Titanfall released first and by a considerable amount of time therefore there's no questioning that one.

Seriously how anybody could still support CoD at this point is a real mystery to me.

Is EA Access worth it?

I certainly think so. There's plenty to choose from and let's you play games you perhaps wouldn't otherwise. Coupled with Games with Gold you could possibly argue the average gamer wouldn't need to buy any other games, especially with most EA games being online multiplayer. Perhaps Rocket League also would give you a complete arsenal of stuff to do. IMO that is. (Although I am a hypocrite with 250+ digital games, most not played, doh!)
