For anyone that had a hard time trying to get Gamestop's useless website to work in time and missed the Black Friday deal and don't mind a pre-owned copy, you can get Battlefield 3 on both PS3 and Xbox 360 for the same price at Blockbuster with free delivery

Am I right in thinking no on-line available via pre owned, which BF3 is mainly an on-line game cold I am afraid.

You can buy an online pass from eBay for about £4, meaning total cost £26.99 (still not bad)

Gamestop £22 new

It did say earlier that the pre-owned copies did come with an online pass - but I see that now seems to have disappeared!

I actually cancelled the BB deal and got a new copy from Gamestop

AFAIK you can play online without the online pass, I think that just gives you access to DLC and the Battlelog page.

No, you can't do anything at all with the multiplayer side of things without an online pass. I've tried. You can't even look at the 'My Soldier' page.

Gamestop are actually delivering the limited edition instead of the standard

DOES NOT COME WITH ONLINE PASS CODE. Upon ordering a copy, the website did state (as updated info but now it has mysteriously disappeared) that it had an online pass code. My copy didn't. It took a week to arrive, and both campaign and multiplayer discs were slightly scratched with sticker marks over the case.

*EDIT*
Just rang up Blockbuster Marketplace's customer services and they informed me that I would get an e-mail which will contain the online pass code by Friday 2nd December... saying that EA had the codes... Hmm...

BUYERS BEWARE
I ordered mine...the item did not arrive after 10 days.

After spending around 20mins on an 0845 number they agreed to send me a form...
This I will have to fill before I could get the refund...I do not need this grief for £20 quid...

BB dont really know what they are doing...besta stick to more known retailers like Amazon or ebay trusted seller.
