I wasn't dissappointed with the last two at all. One of the best things ever to have been broadcast IMO.

Not at all, from start to finish, excellent series, started watching it with friend who does not like scifi and now loves this show.
Hmmmm, shall I spend more money I cant afford to spend on a show I have never seen but really want to see..... my heart says yes but my brain and my bank account says no
Does this get better after the mini-series? I found the mini-series to be absolutely dreadful.
This is a superb series at that price is a no-brainer.

As for above comment the mini-series although ok does not represent the majority of the show BUT if you thought the mini-series was dreadful then you may only slightly like the rest.

But it does touch on some brutal subjects later in the series. Best sci-fi space opera bar Babylon 5 imo.

Are you talking about Caprica? This was made after Battlestar had finish but was a prequel. BS is a lot better.

Couldn't agree more. If I didn't already have the lot on DVD I'd buy this right now, but I can't, can I?
Great series, great deal. End of. added heat thanks Op!
Should i spend £50 on this even though i already have the dvds, hmmm.
Oh - that is good value, can I resist buying. No I'm ordering -Hot

I was referring to the original mini-series that relaunched BSG. Cheers damoxuk!
best series ever. Difficult to resist at this price.
50quid well spent, cheers
voted hot and ordered :-)
If there is other stuff you want as well, then The Hut have a £6 of £60 spend currently running as part of their "super 6" deals
I must have paid this a few months ago for the DVD version. Great deal.
There's quite a bit missing from this, and errors in the episode numbers and information if I recall. I was going to buy it and have been tempted since, but it's a real put-off for me. However.. this, The Wire and Band of Brothers are the 3 greatest shows to have been on TV imho, and it's definitely worth the money.

If you didn't like the miniseries/pilot, I doubt you'd like the series even though it's **** brilliant. It's a slow burner with a lot of character and plot progression, whilst every episode is pretty gripping.

Third series is a **** **** take on the Iraq war though. Absolute ****.
I have a Unique 10% OFF Code for Zavvi which I doubt I'll be using. Here it is for whoever wants it. Can potentially get this set for £45 if your quick.

epic tv show, shame it had to end :(. Watched part of the first season when it was on sky 1 then stopped watching, thought it was crap really and then virgin got sky cut :P, got it for christmas last year ended up watching it all in a few weeks! Bloody epic, couldnt stop watching it.... seriously dont know why i didnt like it on tv, its a 10/10 show!

Seriously if you like scifi get this!

Also an important note, there is some stupid decisions in the box set as episodes are a touch annoying. Check the episode list on each disc as on the discs they have added the extended unaired episodes (about hour long, most are 44mins) for a handful of episodes, but they have left in the aired shortened version on it! Ended up watching the short version then the extended version right after :(, so yeah check if the disc you're watching has any extended episodes on it before pressing play.

Apart from that, stunning top buy!

Probably beacuse you didn't have to sit through tons of annoying adverts that are twice the volume level of the programme you are watching. Just a thought.....
Probably one of the best sci-f series ever. Up to series 2 was excellent, tailed off a little after that , and the final five - well wouldnt have been my choice. But it has one of the greatest sci-fi moments ever in it - The Adama Manoeuvre . Gritty and with some hard moral choices. Reinvented sci-fi. Nuff said :-)
