Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Series contains the entire Emmy(r) award winning epic Battlestar Galactica series, from the Second Cylon war of the Mini Series through their journey across the vastness of space told in every episode of Seasons 1, 2, 3 and 4 (including the TV movie Razor) and ending with The Final Season.

This is the new cardbord box packaging. Much better IMHO than the tin version. Use the code FEB10 to get this price. The code possibly expires today.

Does this come with "The Plan" if not, I'm not interested!

I doubt it - this set was released in September, the plan was released in October. The description says includes upto the final season - which also suggests it isn't included

According to a guy on another forum who has actually bought this new boxed version, The Plan is NOT included.

April should see a complete boxset including the Plan in the US. blu-ray.com/mov…70/

So is that the 3rd boxset version in about 5 months?

Meh, awesome show anyway, happy with my non-The Plan set... bought that separately and it's crap.

Yes but if the current quoted price, on Amazon US, holds true then the new US boxset will probably work out at twice the price, once you factor in import duties etc.

Hmmm good price, but not cheap enough for me lol!!!

I bought DVD version for £48 after hearing it mentioned so much on big bang theory. Can't believe this show passed me by for so long. About to watch Razor before final season.

Considered blu ray but was put off by reviewers talking about deliberate graininess which negates upscaling.

I only gave the US date as I don't know the UK date, I expect not long after. I was told the price will be similar to your deal and if you bought it at Movietyme from the States at this price you'd still avoid customs tax. Your deal is fine but for those wanting the Plan included, this was announced to have that.

That's true but the sound is awesome. I'm in no rush to buy the blu with the DVD sets but will do when the new, new set is a deal.

£91.74! Wow, I think I will wait until it's in Poundland.

Just finished watching the final season, such a disappointing end, but then i wouldn't know how else to end it any better., just thought it kinda withered to a close.

awesome show though, was gripped instantly and i wish it'd gone on for longer!

drool, its gonna have to come down a lot to convince me to upgrade to blu-ray though.

If they released a version without the deliberate graininess in it I'd buy it in an instant.
Can't comprehend why they ruined the quality like this, people don't spend a fortune on high end HD stuff just to get a "gritty feel". Madness.

yes they do!
some films are filmed like that on purpose.

its like refusing to watch a film because its in black and white.
or even worse, people who refuse to watch subtitled films.
id say more than half of my favorite films are sub'd...

The grain does add to the feel of the show, if they didn't have it it would look sterile. I wouldn't have had it any other way. But with a background in film I'm quite fond of grain so i would stand up for it.
