Baufix 5ltr Wood Treatment Gel - £5 at LIDL

I posted a deal for this stuff about 18 months ago when it was being sold at £10 per 5ltr (2 for £20)...

But if you are lucky you can get it now even cheaper... £5 for this quality polyurethane treatment is an absolute steal, so I have made sure that I've stocked up. They had at least 10 tubs of the stuff in various colours in my local LIDL (Maidstone, Kent) in their sale/outlet section, all marked up with £5 label. I guess other stores might have them as well.

The funny thing is that just across the store they had exactly the same stuff that has been on sale for the past couple of weeks but in the 2.5ltr size, but this was priced up at £6.99 (these tubs have a slightly different image and labelling but it is the same stuff).

I recently used the Rosewood colour gel to do the cladding on the outside of my house, the coverage was excellent and the satin finish looks really nice.

Can this be used on wooden decking?

I believe so yes, although it might be slippery due to the polyurethane.

Careful now.......don't paint your decking with a dark colour....looks great to start with but as it wears due to footfall
or pets scratching..... it's gets to look tatty very quickly... and if you want to replace it's a nightmare to remove
I did... but never again
