Better than Heinz for me and heated.

thx have some heat

tried the chicken broth last week and it was good, not remotely as good as that heinz chicken and veg tin but still nice alternative.

I have tried the chicken broth and also that country veg garden one which is good also, country veg one tasted nicer, 65p from poundstretcher but 50p from asda can't go wrong.

I tried all those new range heinz flavoured tins and other normal cans and are ok but so far cant find anything that tops that heinz chicken tin

Cock-a-leekie for me.

Anyone noticed the price of soup seems to have gone way up lately? I dunno, too used to getting heinz tomato soup on the cheap.

4 for £2 in Morrissons so a great deal at the moment.

Baxters Favourites soup has been around 98p for at least 3 years, though perhaps the 50p offers occur less often.

Have not noticed this myself and am a bit of a soup fan myself over the last few years.

Asda still do their own 4 tins for 2 quid deal, but are average at best, sometimes you get heinz doing similar offer 4 for 3 quid though.

The one that does not go on offer is the heinz chicken+veg soup tin the one with chunky/large veg/chicken pieces, but that one seems to be one of the top soup tins going since it has more filling inside, the rest are lighter broths.

thanks. Speaking of which, do you make your own soups? bound to be a lot cheaper in the long run if you can pick up some reduced veg, herbs and spices from asian shops and freeze the soup

I sadly don't cook much, but your right would be cheaper and also the ingredients would taste and be much fresher and better then a tin or micro meal.

The most cooking I have done recently is my experiment with heinz beans and adding pasta with grated Asda dutch Cheese, and that is barely classed as cooking yet tasted very good
