4 tins for £1 in Poundstretcher various varieties available.

Looks to be a great deal, when comparing the price to other famous stores. None come close

Look at the date on the bottom of the tin, my store are 10p each because they go out of date in October 2016

meh, dosen't bother me they'll be good for sometime yet, BBD's are just a guideline

good find op, heat added

Heat added even though cheaper is at Chester le Street market on a Saturday morning but that's often out of date (B.B.E.)
Always buy cheap stuff from there and not bothered if out if date. It's never done me any harm in years of buying there.
Biscuits/tinned food/ sauces/ pickles/ chocolste/ crisps etc etc all a fraction of the Tesco 60 yards away

Good for at least another 50 years which is more than I can say for myself.

Buy these quick before Scottish Indyref2. When the foreseeable future trade tarriffs kick in, this deal will have seemed like a canny investment.

great!! cheers!!

In my local store they are not 4 for a £1 ! They are 50p each and they are 50p online as well ! And you can get 2 for a£1 at the pound shop

Tinned food will last well the beyond the best before date as the tin contains no air therefore preserving the content.

Scott of the Antarctic had canned food that was found still good after many decades,so long as tin not damaged will still be good long after I'm gone.

tinned soup - you must be mad. tastes revolting

got some last week, tinned food last for years but the only thing is that the flavours diminish. OK when you are desperate.

or skint

or on a diet

or both

Not air-it's because it is cooked in the tin in a steriliser!

It probably helped that they were deep frozen too! I'm not sure I'd care to try it though, as in those days the can seams were made with lead based solder!

so can anyone confirm are they 50p or 25p

Cock A Leekie?

Sure that's included

yes I got some cock in Maidstone

woops l meant cock a leaky

might have one tonight after work

Just got some at Edinburgh. They have about 5,000 cans on the shop floor. Wonder if there was a BBE printing error at Baxters.

I found some sardines in olive oil last week from 1992, at back of cupboard. they were perfect.
