Bay Tree - £15 @ Tesco (Instore)

17
Found 11th Mar 2015
Approx 20 inches tall (not including base) so approx 3 to 4 years old?

Good price, have seen similar sizes in garden centers for £30 upwards. Also comes with a 12 month guarantee.

Easy to care for and a never ending supply of bay leaves :o)

Bought in the Linwood branch, I'd imagine it is a national deal for mothers day.

Our is 25ft high. Maybe it is a different variety of bay tree.
25ft? It probably is a different variety. Are you sure you didn't sell your cow for some magic beans?
Lavender also available in this range.

It's only reached that height because you added heat to it. Would have been much smaller in a cool spot.
I've bought bay trees in the past and they say not for culinary use. Has this got the same warning?

Good price and yes 24 foot is the normal height they attain if you let them get away, you can keep them pruned, they don't mind, if you let them get big and cut them the logs smell lovely on the fire

Same here, my bay tree is around 8-9ft tall, I think these ones are pruned to look pretty, they do look lovely outside your front door, but any herbs in my garden get used in the kitchen, so this would he bald in a month lol!

So you have driven to Chorley, Leyland and then Preston with no luck on buying a plant with a few quid saving?

This site never fails to amaze me!
