That "trash wii u" you mention was the original home to some amazing games, actually. Probably the same games that you have recently been enjoying on your switch.

You’re right - Don’t get me wrong it’s nothing compared to my steam one - thanks to humble and regular steam sales.

Thing is I haven’t been on my pc since I got the switch...

Brilliant games. Good price to as it seems to never come down.
Also this price at Argos if you can find any stock.
Finally given in - my switch pile of shame has grown quite a bit thanks to posts like this.

Heat from me. But console games are so expensive now. Switch seems to be the worst. Making up for all thr piracy on the ds I guess?

Bought this, thanks! Was waiting for it to come down. Missed both games on the Wii U and wanted to try them but didn’t wanna pay £49.99 for two ports! £34.99 is still a little high IMO but doubt it’ll get in the 20’s for a while so....
I always wanted the Special Edition Version as the Steelbook for this game looks Incredible! If anyone's found one at a reasonable price please let me know!

Thanks, ordered from one near me!
Anyone know if this works on the Nintendo switch lite?

It does, yes. All Switch games work on the Lite
The original is 6 years old and this re-release is 2 years old, £35 is so expensive still for what you're getting! A good comparison might be the Bioshock trilogy which got the remake treatment and came out with all the previous games on new consoles, and a good deal for that is £10-15.

Wii U was a flop but it was not trash. Has done all time great games. Easily modded too.

Skyrim is 9 years old and still £40+ on switch, Diablo 3 is 8 years old and the same.. You can't really compare Bayonetta collection on Switch with the Bioshock trilogy on other consoles. It's because it's on Switch that it holds it's value, if it was on the other consoles it would probably be less than £10 now.

On the plus side, most games hold their value and you can pretty much get your money back. I've profited buying many Nintendo Switch games at release with codes, preorder discounts etc and then selling them on for more when I've finished with them.
Still getting heat at this price, eh? It was £35 at Tesco on 9th Feb (£5 off £40) 2018! Great for two games, even if #1 is a code.
2014 game for £34.99. Hahhahah.

i just hated the wii u as a console. nintendo had a massive thing for gimmicks after the gamecube. i enjoyed the wii but i rarely touched it after the first couple weeks. wii u just wasnt for me, much happier about the switch. i just use a pro controller and play games on the tv mode. rarely take it off the dock

now if nintendo had a classic collection of games like they did for the wii u then id be 100% happy with the switch. currently its the biggest thing holding it back imo. its a shame not to see snes or 64 games on the store, the virtual subscription leaves a lot to be desired with its collection of games.

sorry to ramble on but i thought i should explain myself.

True that! But that just makes me feel even more shame

I've been meaning to get this, but haven't hardly touched Luigis Mansion...

Playing devil’s advocate here... Doesn’t the fact that the WiiU had some of the greatest games of the last decade yet hardly anyone bought it confirm it was a rubbish? How many people would have missed out on Zelda BOTW if it didn’t get ported to the Switch?

Badly marketed. The name alone probably killed it. Many casual gamers did not even notice it was a new console! It broke the ground for the Switch though.
