Not sure why this is cold when £1 more from Argos is over 300 degrees. Ah the mystery of this site
Maybe because it was £38 with prime pre order? 🤷 Who knows

He bought from Tesco at £35. So got B1 digital for £5 after trade-in. Getting both digital games for £30.
Only better possible price I'm wondering is if after redeeming B1 code can you get the discounted B2 price from any region eShop ? As SA would be £18/£19

In the end i got it In Tesco for £36 traded it in for £30 and bought it for again digitally for £25. So for £31 I ended up with games that was £50 on eshop and £5 eshop credit remaining

The Argos one is an active deal like this one.

Unless you have a time machine I don’t understand your point.
In the end £31 to walk away with 2 games digital worth £50 on eshop and £5 eshop remaining is worth the effort when I wanted them digital anyway.

And losing the ability to sell on in future!
£31 to walk away with 2 digital games ,£5 eshop voucher and 70p game trade in credit in my eyes trumps buying a £40 game and then trading it in for £18 which results in a £22 lost in a months time.

Haven't you spent £36? £6 loss on trading it in, and then (I assume based on you saying you bebe £5 credit remaining) a £30 eshop voucher?

Bought for £36 cash and traded it in for £30 eshop voucher. So wouldn't it be £36 (cash)-30 (voucher)+25 (game)= £31 and then I've got £5 eshop remaining

Thanks, was just coming on here to see if anyone had done this. Seems like a no-brainer if Game are offering £30 trade in! Ta

For anyone confused, when you redeem the Bayonetta code on the eShop, it lets you buy Bayonetta 2 for £25.

So, buy this for £40, install Bayonetta. Trade this in for £30, get eShop credit.
Buy Bayonetta 2 from the eShop for £25.

You've spent £35 for 2 games, and have a fiver credit left over.

Again, it's a trip into town to trade in the game for a saving of £5. That's fine if you actually live near a Game store, but, ultimately, you're putting in some hard yards to save £5.
well you are saving £10, since you also have the £5 eshop credit left over (if i understand correctly), which would be a 25% discount of the £40 price you paid for both games initially

Initial outlay: £40. Trade in value (eshop credit): £30. So let's call the £10 deficit the cost for the Bayonetta code. Cost for Bayonetta 2 on eshop (with discount): £25. Total cost of both games: £35. You have £5 left over in eshop credit. So you've spent £40 for two games and £5 worth of eshop credit. As opposed to spending £40 for the two games (one physical and one digital).

It's a saving but it does require a physical visit to a shop to make it work. Is that trip worth saving £5 for?
My god but you lot have too much time on your hands - who cares if he saved a fiver? Life's too short. Heat added from me.

Preorderd it from Tesco the other day as it was £40 with £5 off voucher so paid £35 great game

I dunno what your problem is but both games come to £41.

Buying B2 for £35 discounts B1 to £6.

Buying B1 for £22 discounts B2 to £19.

Sorry, should have been more specific - I more meant the indepth quibbling over how/if he got a fiver off.
Now £43.98
For some reason now gone up by three quid. Next cheapest seems to be Argos.
