I think it is cheaper at store but you will have to carry it home and assemble it.
Bought this one last year, delivered and assembled by Costco and it is a solid piece of furniture.

Do you know if this has an expiry date or is ongoing throughout the year?

Based on past promotions I expect it to be available for a couple weeks and then just disappears.
Last time I saw it was Black Friday or Cyber Monday 2017 I reckon.
Not sure about the end date tbh.

Ok thanks. Better order one soo then! I see you bought one last year, any regrets? Is the wood similar to oak in terms of hardness (unlike pine)?

No regrets whatsoever, I'd buy it again. It seems to appear once or twice a year, this furniture but not always online.
Only wished my room was bigger as it extends quite a bit if required :-)

Free returns and it is white glove service: they assemble and take all the rubbish with them.

It is solidhardwood but we always have, when using it, two tablecloths: one protector and one normal tablecloth, depending on the decoration or season.
Is is harder than Oak I think but depends on the type of Oak?
Is is made of rubberwood & acacia wood solids with acacia veneers but looks solid, just don't let kids with hammers near it :-)
ejmas.com/tin…tml

Acacia: 1,750
Rubberwood: 890
Red Oak: 1,290
Pine: 870

Thus I think as good if not better than common Oak. Mind you as far as I know, the majority of 'Oak' is actually Oak veneers and cheap wood inside.

Alternative is go to the warehouse, they had it in there last week, and have a look then order online and get it delivered and assembled :-)
