£1 fee per ticket

The death in March 2016 of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies – born in Salford, educated in Manchester – deprived British music of one of its greatest assets and fiercest advocates. Tonight, Håkan Hardenberger joins John Storgårds and the orchestra to pay tribute with a performance of Max’s terrific Trumpet Concerto. The concert begins with Nielsen’s dynamic overture to Maskarade, then ends with Shostakovich’s vast Tenth Symphony: packed with coded messages, it’s an intense, compelling essay on life and death under Stalin.

Thanks, got tickets really looking forward to going

If its the BBC you probably want to leave your children at home in case any radio DJs are there. Just saying.

Superb venue - anyone attending is sure to have a great evening

Not used this company before but booked a couple of seats for this event. You print off your voucher and then present it at the box office, at which point you will be given seats. So you don't know where you will be sitting, but hopefully they don't allow more bookings through Seefilmfirst than they have actual seats available.

dont worry the Bridgewater hall is massive and usually not full. they wouldn't overbook

Used to work closely with the orchestra about a decade ago, you will be absolutely enthralled and entertained

If the BBC there I'm not going to support pedos

balls only just seen this.

another bloody pound on top of the TV licence!

Thought I would update. As I mentioned, you don't get a numbered ticket. However, you can look online and see how many tickets are still available to buy at the Bridgewater Hall site - there were hundreds, so we knew there would be no problem sitting together. The concert was great apparently (I wasn't going). It was being recorded for transmission later. All in all, an easy procedure to print off the voucher and get the tickets at the box office and an excellent concert.
