You need a BT line BTW. I am posting this baby buffalo of a deal to see if it's the best on offer. If you reckons you have better deal, please do go ahead with post and I'll review your suggestion when afforded the time.

Probably have to live next door to the Exchange to get this speed !!!

I live 2km away as the crow flies and get 19 down and 1.3 up or as i have it set at the moment 18 down and 2mb up!

Absolutely. I should stress this is "up to" speeds, not what you are likely to get. But it's all about traffic, and BE dont have as many as say Sky or BT, so speeds are likely to be over 10 meg.

So you'd highly recommend ? I am from London, so cannot be too far from exchange.

Yeah the online support respond quite quickly. You can adjust quite a few line settings in your account 3 settings of speed vs stability and fastpath on too for better pings.. all depends on what you are using it for!

After 12 months i told them I was leaving and they put the price down to £12 per month which is very good as the larger upload i have was an extra £4 per month!

I use BE broadband myself, my internet has always been crap some reason but its better under BE than it has been elsewhere (virgin, BT and others I can't remember) and they have unlimited bandwidth so no crappy caps on how much can be downloaded etc.

Or if you have an O2 mobile in the household I'd suggest looking at their packages...same supplier but you get a useful discount for having an O2 mobile.

My son has an O2 PAYG mobile..for a £10 topup on his mobile every 3 months i get halfprice broadband

16mb down 1.3up for £7.50 pm

Those speeds are pathetic

I see. Well general use and online gaming is what I'm looking for. Virgin upload speeds of 0.2 are pathetic. I switched to SKY this month after promised up to 17meg at average 7meg and 3 upload, but it's barely 3meg download and 0.72 upload at the moment. Been like that all week, whatever time.

Personally I think youd be better off with a 10mb Virgin connection with the phoneline deal, they have 6 months half price broadband for £6.25. Then 12 pounds after with a phoneline. So what £24 all in?.

It beats BE because you're not guarenteed to get the full 24 meg, at least with Virgin you'l get a solid 10mb. I'm on 20mb myself and its always been 20 for years.

Maybe but £10pm cheaper...;-)

That's was just me being an idiot, and loving my BT Infinity
I voted hot.

16 mb down and 1 mb up for the rest of my life free from talktalk, beat that ! ping of 43 ms on average also.

Does that include the line rental?

Um... this is just the price isn't it?

This a joke?
I's the standard Be tariff, on it myself, have been for about 2 years. Although even then I got it with a cashback offer, making it better than this post! Even now, if I was signing up from scratch, I could do better, but that's not a deal either!

So, it's no offer no deal no nothing, and as good as Be is, unless you want it's very specific features, then the O2 tariffs are usually cheaper.

VM is only good if you dont use their phone service, which is the most expensive in the UK (call costs higher than BT).

I know, I have been with them for 2 years, but there are better deals than this.
