Really good price, next cheapest is £67 at Amazon for this beast of a cooler. One of the best coolers out there

Still worth a try I guess
This cooler is amazing... worth ordering even if it ends up getting cancelled. Managed to get mine for around the same price
How easy is it to mount the Dark Rock cooler? My H100i is about to die, and I need something to hold be over before the replacement comes. I've been checking out the Hyper212 Evo, the reviews say that its great bang for buck, but the mounting can be tricky. Since this is not much more, I'd thought I'll ask as well. Cheers

I've got the hyper 212x, the updated evo basically.

They are slight fiddly to install but if you can build a pc then it's not that difficult. Just read the instructions clearly so that the screws are on the correct setting for your cpu type.

And yeah bang for buck is why I went for the 212x, had a different 212 for years with multiple gaming cpus even the latest i5-7600k and never had a problem cpu always extra cool, never seen over 52 degrees C during bf1 and the fan isnt even at 100%

Dropping £40-£50 on a temporary CPU cooler sounds utterly ludicrous. Why not lower the extreme overclock and strap on the stock heatsink? Prob don't need the water cooler and failing parts in the first place.

Need to add postage to this price
Heat added it's a great cooler but with delivery comes to £41.80 and it's not as good as Noctua NH-U14S which you can get it for around £50.

My comment was removed from op regarding the postage, great job mods lol.

Therefore voted cold as price is misrepresented

Odd as I'm the only Mod online (afaik) and I didn't remove it. I'll edit the title / price as delivery should be included.

Its better than the U14S, and probably on a par with the D15.

The DRP3 is a good air cooler (and very quiet) but it doesn't perform quite like an NH-D15. That said, an NH-D15 is ~£75 and this is (maybe, if they actually deliver it) £40.

A couple of reviews which include both the DRP3 and the NH-D15:

overclock3d.net/rev…w/5 (I know this isn't the Pro, but the Pro's results are in the charts).

bit-tech.net/har…w/2
What a bargain!

Thanks OP - ordered. £0.99 TCB too which offsets some of the postage costs.

haha good one
Not sure why this is getting so much heat

The Cryorig H7 is half the price and basically has the same performance.

Cooling Comparison - techpowerup.com/rev…tml
Noise Comparison - https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/CRYORIG/H7_Universal/7.html

0-2 degree difference and a 0-3 decibel difference.

Save yourself £15-20 and just get the H7.

Where can you get a Cryorig H7 new for £20-25 delivered?

The cheapest I can see it is £36.99 at Overclockers, but that's not including their extortionate ~£6 delivery charge and the fact it's expected to be out of stock until June.

Huh, strange, seems like it's getting phased out and will be replaced. Fair point - far harder to get hold of and more expensive than it use to be.

Damn, I was hoping I'd missed it and I could pick one up for ~£20 just to keep as a spare cooler, then if my H110i ever needs to go in for repair or anything I wouldn't end up running my CPU at stock speeds on the dreadful Intel cooler.

However, £40 seems bit much for something that I know full well will spend 99%+ of its life in its box, in the cupboard of spare PC bits.

Sorry, this product is no longer available to purchase.

They seem to stock a lot of Cup coolers that dont list s1150 , is that just bad listing?
eg Noctua DH14 ?
