Eric is Bananman! Ever alert for the call to action. Here we have Eric, your average run of the mill pathetically weak schoolboy. So Dennis the Menace wasn't a commercial success? Given the countless kids tv shows and remakes plus films? :whistling:

i paid £24.97 for this boxset just over two months ago. therefore, i'm going to vote this hot.

When was Dennis in the Dandy?

Also I don't remember the English Dennis the Menace ever having been in a film.

HUH? he was in the Beano! The main character?! This is a Beano and Dandy collection?

And Dennis the Menace is Dennis the Menace?! How many American actors play English roles and vice versa?

I think you need to wiki or google a bit.

I said that this was 'The Beano', and 'Dandy's only commercial success Bananaman'. Meaning although this is Beano and Dandy, really it's Beano and Bananaman.

Also there are 2 characters called Dennis the Menace. There is the American Dennis the Menace (refered to as just 'Dennis' in the UK) and the English Dennis the Menace that starred in the Beano. They have no similarities other than the name.
The American DTM started as a comic strip, then had a 60's sitcom, then an 80's cartoon, followed by the movies in the 90's.

As far as I am aware the English Dennis the Menace has not starred in any feature films.

No wiki or googling was envolved.
