The Beatles (White Album) [VINYL]
This is the first time The BEATLES (‘White Album’) has been remixed, presented here as a 2LP 180-gram black vinyl set. To create the new stereo audio mixes for ‘The White Album,’ Giles Martin and Sam Okell worked with an expert team of engineers and audio restoration specialists at Abbey Road Studios in London.

This 2LP ‘White Album’ release includes Martin’s new stereo album mix, sourced directly from the original four-track and eight-track session tapes. Martin’s new mix is guided by the album’s original stereo mix produced by his father, George Martin. Half-speed cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.
Note: Please use a dry carbon fiber or anti-static brush prior to play to help eliminate any dust or particles. This can improve performance and greatly reduce skipping.

    Since I have complained about the shipping of records in the past, I can happily say that it's gotten a lot better.
    Both beatles records arrived in perfect condition.

    It's the std single vinyl. 50th anniversary remixed by Giles Martin. Yes yr link seems garbled as it states single vinyl but then has photos of the deluxe box set which is dearer. Hope this helps.

    You can actually return either of the albums if you already have one. Abbey road £11.60 and the white album. £18.39. If you can’t be bothered with listing it on eBay plus fees and postage costs. (edited)

    I had them delivered over Christmas and New Year. On the 30th I put Abbey Road on and listened to it front to back. Heard the album many many times over the years but not like that. When people ask me why I choose to spend so much on vinyl I tell them that it gives me an experience I don’t get from the convenience of the digital age. I sit and listen - I’m invested.

    That's what I say.
    Digital has its place, of course, but it has reduced music to being background noise whilst you do other things.
    It wasn't until I went back to vinyl that I fully appreciated what I had lost.
    It's an entirely different way to experience music...and a bloody expensive one too!!!:)

    My Dad (big beatles fan) I'm sure has the abbey road but defo not White? Worth buying and me keeping the AR50th vinyl as an 'investment' and just looking cool on the shelf lol? TIA.

    It's basically bogof. So keep white and sell the other if needed. New mix well worth it.

    I have all the original records of this band from 1960's. I am a Beatles disciple and grew up with their 10.5 hours of released music; that had a lifetime of change for a whole generation globally. These remixes do not sound in your face Beatles style, but boy, oh, boy are they fantastic. The Beatles, the only band never to cop out. HOT deal. The world of the 22nd century will still be listening and reading Shakespeare. (edited)

    still have the originals, bought sgt pepper when it came out, still has the cardboard inserts, never sold any of them, and dark side of the moon pink floyd with posters inside and stickers.

    These are the new stereo mixes by Gyles Martin. Depends on how much you want the songs tinkered with.

    Bought this last time. For some reason everyone states Abby road is a really good mix but compared with my french original - it's no where near. Maybe I need to give it a good clean? Anyway I bought it for the white album so no great loss.
