Yep, he's always on here...

They've been this price for a few weeks now, both in argos, currys, sainsburys to name a couple. Sadly like phone deals and tablets, these headphones would need to be free for people to vote hot!!! Good deal or not people sadly don't want to know!! I for one brought them a few weeks back. Please sit crack because you will get lots if comments regarding they are rubbish, the price is crap blah blah!!!

Yes how dare you post on here such quality? Oh and do not post any iphone deal on here as well, we prefer the plastic and plaigering phones, let this be a lesson to you young man!

Sit back I meant to say, before the comments start!!!

I have gone into currys and have tested all headphones on show to demo. beats are the best.

Why do people hate these so much? Is it just snobbery? full price £170 so £40 off seems to be a good deal and, though I may be mistaken, isn't that the point of this site? Hot ie good deals in the uk? But hey, what do I know?

This is a good deal if you are after these specific headphones but they are really nothing special, as pretty much every independent review will concur. You can get much better headphones at a much lower price i.e. AKG K451 at £50. Not voting either way though.

Well I found some today at a market from a guy who buys returns from pcworld currys Argos etc who I know personally so I know they are genuine at only £55 all working just with the bag of spare ear cushions missing from the box

Is that what his supplier told him, had someone on a wholesale site say the same once, he was found out to be full of BS. I would have thought, like all their other returns / refurbs, Currys etc would sell them through their ebay account; especially when the return is better for them

Well I think they good quality headphones paid a lot more back in feb.

Wouldn't bother wasting money for fake ones sold on fb for £20

Its because the sound quality really sucks. They are all style over substance.

I had a set of these for commuting.

After they bedded in the sound was fine and I finally got to enjoy the bass these are so well known for. My biggest gripe with them though was comfort. The cushions sit on the ears so after a couple of hours or so they started to hurt my ears.

Considering these are £170 RRP then this price is a cracker if you're thinking of getting these. Voted hot.

awful awful headphones!! I actually like big bass but these are muddy and lack detail in a big way for something costing over £30. it's not as true for all Beats even, these are the worst model by far. I've heard a few fake ones too and they're better. This is honestly worthy of the extremely cold votes around here. Also build quality is pretty bad.

If you want to spend this kind of money for on-ear portable headphones and want big bass I recommend the Sennheiser HD25-1 II, the RZA Premium is also really good and is a bit cheaper than the Sennheiser. If you're looking for a slightly more neutral sound then the V-Moda M80 is very nice on sound quality, looks and build, although it's not the most comfortable on-ear. Also worth noting that the M80 is the only neutral-ish V-Moda.

No I actually used to work for techguys who used tohandle all the returns etc and that's how I met him he used to come once a month and get a few mixed pallets don't know what price he paid for the pallets but he kept coming back so I know for a fact they are from currys pcworld etc because I used to load them onto his van I can't remember the company name now but he said he still goes to the same place lol

On the contrary, I highly recommend fake ones because you can't really get any worse sound than this, so if you want the looks without spending the cash you can't go too far wrong. If dodgy copies make you squeamish however I recommend the Noontec Zoro, a very similar look and a far supiror sound / build quality for only £40 from Amazon.

Oh god, the comments on them.

Clearly he doesn't...

Tell him to get some Sennheisers and run them through an DAC, then tell me what good sound quality is.

And for those who say good bass:

innerfidelity.com/ima…jpg

That's not bass. That's distorted mud. Get some Custom One Pros or some XB 700 and then let me know what bass is.

you can buy pallets of their returned "damaged" stock, only items which aren't actually damaged/faulty and are just missing accessories etc

lots of the so called damaged stock is fine and the person who originally bought it just didn't turn the power on or something stupid
