Beats by Dre iBeats for £67 is a good deal, RRP: £79.99. Ordered these today, unfortunately not for myself!

Have a pair of the Solo HD RED headphones and if the iBeats are as good then they'll be awesome!

Cold. Other than the fact that they point out to people that you know nothing about music, there are also far better options out there that are cheaper.

What has a pair of headphones got to do with knowledge and/or taste of music?! HotUKDeals is about deals, not taste in audiovisual equipment or music! I bet you read/covet NME!

Got them included with my HTC sensation, not bad quality. But wouldn't pay that price!

Purely on price then yes it's a good deal...as for value for money and sound quality goes...a pair of £15 Sennheiser CX300's will embarrass these.

Nope, I'm voting on this based on it being a deal. This is not a good deal compared to other earphones available with similar specs for less. If you want an example, Astro A*Star, which is only ever sold at its RRP of £59.99. Gives you an idea of the markup on this "Dre" branded cack. Therefore cold.

I totally agree I'm using these at the moment as my CX300's broke. These beats ones came with my phone (HTC sensation XE) they're pretty good so far as phone earphones go but not great compared to my CX300's
I'm looking out to get a new pair of CX300's - great earphones for the price

I've got these as they came with my htc sensation xe. I've never tried any other headphones to compare them with aside from cheapish sony ones and apple headphones. And these blow them out of the water by miles, I love them! Would I pay £70 for them, no, But I wouldn't pay £70 for any set of headphones to be quite frank!

What discount did you get for the phone including the earphones?

Klipsch S4's were on here earlier for £24.99.... Much better sound, I've had them a year and they're great. I've been tempted by the Beats By Dre after seeing so many people wearing them.... to be honest I prefer the Klipsch.

HotUKDeals is all about people getingthe best deal for their money or less. The temperature allows people with no specific knowledge of a product to guage the value of a deal. Yes this maybe good value price wise for the particular product but there are better value versions for much less. If you want these as a fashion statement then go for it.
Where is teh hot deal in someone paying £67.99 on something if they want the best for their money and could be done so when they spend £25.

couldnt imagine paying this then them braking

I agree with most of what you're saying.....but if people just vote cold on a deal because they don't like the product, then that surely gives the wrong impression to someone with limited knowledge, namely that the price of this particular item is not that good (when in this case it is - for this item).

If someone is specifically looking for this product, then to them it would be a good deal.
If people want to give opinions on the product (which they will always do) then that may be helpful, but it's really up to the potential buyer whether they then want to purchase the product or not. I believe one of this site's key strengths is the ability to alert people to the cheapest price for a particular product. This is certainly how I use the site (typing a specific item into the search box and finding the lowest cost) as well as browsing for new/hot deals.

I've never used them, these however are much better considering the price, usually on offer for £25 as well: amazon.co.uk/Sou…e_1

Bet these would do the trick just as well (?). Lady Ga-Ga approved (_;)

Couldn't agree more. People who think Dr Drecks are the bees knees are not easily embarrassed.
