Any ideas if these are any good?
Have a hot potato - this is a great price for these. Cheapest I've found was for the "Decade" edition which were £119 at argos pre-xmas. Note that these don't have active noise cancelling though, if you want that you need the Studio edition. Nice find!

Thanks! Yeah I just stumbled onto them and couldn't believe the price

Tried my friends before ordering these. I like them, quite bassy
I have these but different colour. Good sound but max volume a little low.
This is already posted? I bought them from the posted deal last week and sent them straight back. The sound on Bluetooth is a lot different from the wired sound, wasn’t very impressed with them.

Very good price tho, voted hot
Beats have a bad reputation on review sites .... but at the original prices. What hi fi reviewed these as 3* but priced at £250 RRP. At this price that could well be 5*??. I have never owned any Beats products so can’t comment..... however I would be tempted at this price as I do like bass in my headphones ( usually buy Sony ). Voted hot !
Voted Hot - ordered some today to replace my broken mdr1000x
Wish they were any other colour! Still very hot

Yeah most hate stems from poor quality control, overpriced for what they are and people who hate bassy headphones.

At this price though it's a steal but as always, if you don't like the sound signature there's not much to be done. No harm in trying them out and returning if the sound quality isn't to your liking
I’ve had all of the beats solos and I agree that the sound quality on the earlier Beats headphones had too much bass and no detail.

The new version including this model is fantastic. This price is cheaper due to the blue colour which Argos have loads of.

If you want a pair of Bluetooth headphones where the battery lasts forever! These are it.
New bluetooth low power audio standard has been announced called LC3.

Will take a few years for it to be fully rolled out but will bring huge improvements in battery life one hopes.

Got both my sons a pair for Christmas, (both older teenagers) and they both have nothing but good things to say about them. And this is a very good price, I paid £120 a pair last month.

I bought these from the Apple store when they first came out at a ridiculous price; the maximum volume is a little on the low side BUT I had paid in excess of £200 for the gold colour ones so I returned them because I wanted perfection; at this price I'm genuinely tempted to buy them back again as they weren't actually bad, I just couldn't justify the original price. Good find OP, heat added
Are these good for gym and travelling? Concerned by comments mentioning low max volume. What louder alternatives are there?
Great for the price, but not the most comfortable for glasses wearers like myself.
Received them today - good sound ( coming from a Bose / Sony MDR1000X back ground ) nice setup - great charging and connection , very light - they do feel very tight though and leak a bit of sound - but for the money a bargain

Appears they still got 1115 in stock so price may drop further. I will wait.

Why did Argos buy in such stock in one colour ? Madness .. must be taking a hit now at £77 when Apple are selling them for £179.

Studio 2 are louder if you can find some cheap somewhere.
They are 100 gbp extra
Got mine today. Very nice build. Not as bright blue as I had thought and been concerned about. Shame not noise cancelling. Nothing like Bose qc35ii but not in the same price range.

Is this legit?
Also, my studio 3s just broke after 3 years odd use almost everyday at the gym. Was thinking of getting solos as they’re considerably cheaper for a gym pair. Are these comfortable and loud enough for the gym?
