What about He Who Must Be Obeyed, maybe he likes flowers

Undoubtedly a good price, and no experience of this company myself, but there's been a lot of bad press about a similar Valueflora offer over at MSE.
Not sure if I'm allowed to post the thread link... but it's easy enough to find.

I too have read the comments a while back. It's the very same company, they deliver poor quality flowers that look half dead when they get to you and have very poor customer service.
I'd avoid them like the plague.

yeah but you cant even play with them when they arrive sheesh.

Ok know what you're saying about the bad press guys. We had a thread here which offered "Flowers for a year". Many, many people ordered and have been very happy. However, a few people got bad bunches but all it took was an email to customer service to get refunds/replacements. My partner ordered the year's supply for his mum, and it's been brilliant - about 3 bunches so far, and she's well-chuffed every month!

i've ordered many times from valueflora and the flowers have been excellent, and always paid the quidco too

I was one of the people who (in hindsight, foolishly) went for ValueFlora's offer last time. Big mistake. The flowers are awful, and certainly not worth the £8.33/bunch they were reduced to, and to quote them as originally £25/bunch is simply ludicrous.

I will never buy any flowers from them again, and hope that if even 1 person is disuaded from taking up their offer, by this message, then I have helped.

Kevin.

erm, correct me if im wrong......wouldn't she get bored of roses after about the 2nd month...oh look lets see whats at the door...oh what a surprise(!) more roses

effing & jeffing

women *never* tire of roses, or any flowers

my girlfriend gets flowers every single week, and the times i don't get them for her, she gets them herself

Hi all - my first post here.

Just wanted to say that I've ordered from Valueflora a dozen times or more, over the last 6 months ,and the recipients have been delighted each time.

easily pleased women are great!

I have to agree with eff & jeff, the idea of flowers is for it to be spontaneous and induce a dizzy state of happiness/excitement.

If she already knows that flowers are coming then that isn't going to get the kind of response you want.

Don't get me wrong she will like it but I doubt she's going to be smothering you in kisses everytime they arrive.

I took out the last offer. The flowers look poor when they arrive as most are tightly packed and in bud, but they do open out and suprisingly make a lovely full arrangement.

i never said she was easily pleased

also, flowers are best when they arrive still in bud, as this allows you to get the full lifetime out of the flowers
