Good deal, especially as Becks is genuine imported, whereas all the other lagers in these supermarket big pack offers are UK brewed fake imported.

However, it's worth pointing out that this deal works out at £1.69 per litre / 96p per pint and for those who prefer Budweiser or Carlsberg Export, the current 2 for £20 offer at Sainsbury's works out cheaper.

The packs of Budweiser are 20 x 300ml = £1.67 per litre / 95p per pint. The packs of Carlsberg Export are 24 x 275ml = £1.52 per litre / 86p per pint.

great price heat added

Is this serious, the original price of £13.99 can't be true.

That's a pretty wide comment there mate. What about Carlsberg Export, where is that produces? And Heineken Export? What about that?

Lagers such as Fosters (for example) never claim on the back to be brewed in Australia, whereas ones which explicitly stated "Exported" or "Import" are legally binded to adhere to those claims.

Good price if you are buying 1 or 2 cases but Asda is cheaper in multiples of 3:

Asda Hot UK deal

Hot! Good deal but when Becks is in these small bottles it is best to drink them straight from the bottle, if you pour it into a glass it seems to flatten it. However should you want to drink it from a glass it is best to buy the 660ml bottles, best deal I have have seen for those recently was in Costco (alright you have to be a member) under £12 inc VAT for a box of 12 and works out slightly cheaper than this

The Carlsberg Export you get over here is, I believe, brewed in Northampton.

Heineken is brewed in Holland, but it's not generally included in supermarket big pack offers.

Love this stuff. As someone mentioned already it **** me off that most of these foreign beers are brewed in the UK.

Anyone know a good site for buying proper imported beer?

For DerryBhoy - Not the cheapest I have seen per bottle, but worth bookmarking to look out for good case deals in future.

Not bad....96.25p per pint.

i remember paying 85p a pint for becks at ulu but that was 21 years ago.........

i've just been in the East Kilbride branch of Sainsburys to get this deal when i noticed 24 x 440ml cans of fosters similarly half price down to £9.95.

the sticker had the same sale sign on them (down from £19.95) but they weren't being promoted at the end of an isle like the Becks was, so its possible this isnt nationwide - i have no idea.

There are two crates left in the East Kilbride one as of 4.15pm and they are located right next to the 15 x 440ml cans of fosters (which are ridiculously 5p dearer at £10 per pack!)

for the stat mongers amongst you thats 94p per litre i think which trumps any of the other deals i've seen.
its not the greatest lager though unfortunately but thems the times eh

Fosters is misleading though - it has virtually nothing to do with Australia! Australians won't drink it and its brewed in the UK.

Jasus lads - does it matter where it's brewed??!! - Surely it should be the taste that counts! ;-)

I loves me Heineken and I didn't think you could get Heineken Export anymore...? Remember the Ray Liotta adverts...?

This was at the time when you had a choice of our 4% and 5% 'Export', but the normal 4% was then increased to the 5% (Export) which was the common strength across Europe and not called Export. oO

But someone please correct me if I'm wrong.......X)
