I personally think it's awful, however it seems to have a growing following with distance runners due to some of the benefits it may possess. I tried it hated it and will stick to porridge and mid race jelly babies. However for those that like it?!?! Or want to try it this is a cracking price as it usually retails around £3 for 1.

thanks. been wanting to try this.

I necked A LOT of this in the weeks before my final marathon......the supposed nitric oxide effects were not experienced....the bad stomach was!! Great price though OP, I had ordered in bulk online and didn't beat this price!

i love this with apple juice , and a dash of lemon , good refreshing drink and benefits too.

Turns all body waste purple great at parties!

Hot deal, accurate description.

Personally I think it is a little bit silly - more training, not funny coloured juices!

Forgive me... but I thought any vitamin and nutritional benefits of any fruit or vegetable juices were lost during the factory processing etc. Don't they say that the only beneficial juice has to be freshly made in a juicer/blender for immediate consumption and you're wasting your time with this processed bulk manufactured stuff?

My god thank you so much, off to asda right now. Love the stuff.

Beetroot is the scourge of the middle aged hypercondriac, as great as it is it needs to come with pre printed post it notes to stick on the loo for the next morning..........You Have Not Developed Cancer Overnight And Are Not Bleeding Internally - You Just Had Some Beetroot Yesterday, Idiot !

Does this really taste bad and is there a way of mixing it to taste better without removing the benefits?

it makes the purple bits on you more purple

I see. Yes of course.

I really did think for a minute it was porridge with mixed race jelly babies sprinkled on top.

That doesn't sound to bad to be honest. How anyone likes the taste of this beetroot stuff is beyond me, tastes like earth.

Yes, I find non pickled beetroot a bit earthy tasting. Have never tried beetroot juice but it doesn't surprise me that it would taste the same but even stronger.

Did buy a jar of mashed beetroot and horseradish from Lidl last week and it's very nice in a sandwich or salad. Think I'll stick to that.

I see.. thanks for the link.

for all the health-o`s out there, just get a nutribullet, and blitz all that stuff in one, its fresh and you know what goes in it...............agree though, as much as i like beetroot in my smoothie, you know when you have had it................you just know....

this is not 100% beetroot juice it has 10% apple juice in it plus you should only drink a shot glass worth of 100% beetroot juice a day

yep tried it and it makes you look like dracula but i kinda think it works for muscle ache any way as for whether i would buy more....hmmm i have to be pretty tired to drink it ...it tastes like...but hey why not try spirulina...he he much better honest...

Well, I've just tried this for the first time.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.
