This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Clearly the bass could go lower... now £225

Now £227.... "Bass how low can you go!"

Price dropped again now £233 WOW!!

SLIGHT INCREASE IN PRICE NOW TO £242

EDIT PRICE NOW DROPPED TO £239 - DAMN!!!

I've been keeping my eye on prices for the this RD-8 which is a drum machine based on the iconic Roland R808.

Bax Direct seem to be the cheapest now, this price includes free delivery, you'll get £5 off if you first register for their newsletter and Quidco is showing 3.75% currently. Overall that should bring the price down to under £240.

This is a bit of a niche deal with limited appeal but I think it's pretty good value, especially you consider what this thing can do...

Incredible price. Not sure about this dealer, though. Heard mixed reports.

Try taking this price to your local music store and see if they'll match.
Great deal, great machine with a great build. I bought one of these a few weeks ago (full price from another store), and I’m very impressed, my 6 year old child can even program in drum patterns and loves it, so a great introduction to a fun way of making and changing beats.

Mixmag also voted this their top music device of 2019 (got the number 1 slot)
Is this simple enough for a bassist to setup? I really want some flexible drums for practice, is this thing overkill?
Anyone know how long does it take the first newsletter to come through?
I bought some speakers from Bax late last year and had no problems at all, seemed like a good seller
Behringer are insanely good at the moment, smashing it out of the park and in to the next Universe. All their recent synth releases completely amazing. This is cheaper than buying from Thomann in Germany. Go for it if you need one.
Bax are excellent - my preferred store

Three minutes after registering for the newsletter I had a thank you email and at the bottom is a 15 character code, as I say it's only £5 and there maybe other codes floating around but every little helps.

Yeah I checked Thomann... I have a Yellow TD-3 on order from them...... and two silver TD-3's on order from Gear4Music that just keep pushing the dates back. I'm more confident I'll get the Thomann one first but then I'll have to decide whether to still get the Gear4Music ones and possibly keep one and sell the other. I don't think I'll have a problem as demand is so high for them.

Thanks for the response. I signed up to the newsletter over half a hour ago and have received nothing yet, no doubt by the time it comes through the deal will have expired!

Thomann is brilliant, such a shame we left the EU as it will be too expensive to buy from there once everything is sorted out. Anyway taking a wide birth from politics....If I had too much money then I would be loading up on Behringer synths. I'm looking for a guitar multi effects at the moment. Just found a new one I hadn't see which is the Hotone Ampero, there's so many good multi effects hard time working out which one to buy.
Price dropped... weird!!

Typical.... I've promoted their offer and they reduce further :P

Doesn't seem to be an option to cancel my order so I'll ring them first thing in the morning and see if they can credit the difference or something.

Definitely agree re. Brexit and Thomann
241 RD-8's in stock at the moment so I don't think there will be any issue with this selling out

Lol, a bassist? Not a chance, maybe a trianglist but i don't think a bassist could work out how to turn the thing on

(Im a bassist)

They've always delivered fine for me
For anyone waiting for the newsletter discount code.... I'm not sure what is going on, I have tried subscribing (and registering) with three different email addresses and none have provided me with a code. Might be easier just to ring them and ask to subscribe/for a code.
WOW they have reduced the price again!!!.... now £233 - their pricing is all over the place.

I called them and eventually... after a very very long wait spoke to someone and they refunded what was £12 for me... (so I paid the £239 less £5 for the newsletter discount)...I still haven't received any other codes by the way for anyone still waiting.

As far as processing and shipping the order they have been very efficient and my RD-8 is now on it's way to me by ParcelForce.
A £5 off pop up appeared on their site as I was browsing it. I entered my email address and it created a unique code for the discount. £228 posted, bargain!
Me at the weekend.

If it's in stock, you should get it quickly. I've ordered in stock items and got them OK. However,I ordered an Alesis drum kit, which was supposed to take 3 weeks, but I had to wait 9 weeks,as it kept getting delayed.
Just a word of note. You may not get a UK adapter with this. With my Alesis drum kit,I had to get a Euro to UK adapter plug. They're only around £2. Very good deal on this Drum machine though. Heat.
2.5% cashback on Quidco with Bax. Unfortunately,Top Cashback don't seem to cover Bax Music.
Price has dropped again to £227.
Bought a bass from Box just before Christmas - arrived really quickly and without issue.

Its really quite bizarre how they keep reducing the price.... obviously good.

I received mine today, certainly can't complain about the speed of processing. I have only had a brief chance to play with the RD8, all good though.
Seems like some of you have had better luck than I've had. Today was my nominated delivery day, waited in all day like a lemon but nothing received. Tried calling them and gave up after 20 mins on hold, emailed early afternoon to no avail. According to the tracking website, the parcel hasn't even arrived with the delivery service! No notification of delay or cancellation received. Won't be ordering from this site again.
Mine turned up yesterday via parcel force. I'm still trying to work out how they can manage to knock out something this good for a touch over £200.
I'm definitely picking up the TD-3 when they become more widely available.

Sounds like the courier not the company...

I have a nest video doorbell... Apparently no one was home when Parcelforce tried to deliver mine... It was a lie. I called them and they told the driver to come because he was no where near my house when the delivery update was triggered.

I also received updates from Bax re. The delivery

It's a very good price. They probably overstocked, hence the reduction.

They did have about 300 in stock but now they have 450 or so.
FYI - after an ignored email and phone calls on my nominated delivery day, I eventually managed to get hold of someone at Bax this morning who explained that there is currently an unknown issue with the courier. If anyone has been waiting for theirs like I have, there has been no movement since Feb 20th. No idea why or when they will be received but the packages haven't even reached the UK yet.

Not exactly a satisfying explanation to anyone in this situation, but we are all in the same boat (possibly literally).

I went with the default, think it was Hermes? Either way it hasn't even reached them yet, it's still with a company called Mondial Relay. Never heard of them but they have some shocking reviews, deservedly so if this behaviour is anything to go by.

My experience was the same. Bax handed it over to GLS in the Netherlands on the 20th and I received it via parcel force on the 21st.

Best dealer in Europe for audio equipment. I've used them for nearly 20 years. Their operation is the size of a village if you ever visit it, massive!

This is a street view tour of just their shop > google.com/map…-GB

The warehouse is claimed to be the largest in Europe.

Good to hear something positive about them.
I found them an absolute nightmare to get through to on the phone but having spoken to them they were happy to credit me £12 as the price had reduced... Since then it's reduced further by another £12 but as I'd already received the RD8 I didnt bothered trying to call them again
Now £225!!!
