A+++ Energy Efficiency, 8kg load and 1400rpm.

AO.com offer Free Delivery and will text you a 4 hour timeslot on the morning of your delivery.

I have been watching this washing machine since I missed the previous price drop.

It looks like a very highly reviewed machine with lots of great features including the ability to wash 8kg of clothes in under 40 minutes.

Its been £250 at AO.com for quite a while now and price has just dropped to £219. There is also 2.52% cashback if you go through Topcashback which is not quite as good as the special 10% cashback on BEKO appliances a while ago but brings the price down to £213.48

This machine is also available at Boots Appliances online for £199 with £20 delivery but you can also get some Advantage Card points (about £7 I think) if you prefer.

Details as follows:
As far as green-fingered appliances go, there are none better at saving you money than the ECOWMB81445LW washing machine from Beko.

It's rated A+++ for energy efficiency which means it can cut your laundry costs by up to 50%. There’s not much better than knowing your laundry isn’t eating into your bank balance when it’s cleaning your clothes.

The reason this excellent washing machine is so environmentally friendly is the automatic water level reduction for half and small loads. Whether you’re washing a few shirts or a week’s worth of t-shirts, it’ll always use just the right amount of water every time so not a drop goes to waste.

Its 14 minute Xpress Wash programme will easily deal with a 2kg load which is hugely useful if you need to wash an outfit or a school uniform in a rush. And then there’s the incredibly impressive daily quick wash. This washes a full load – a large 8kg worth of clothes – in just 39 minutes. That’s less than half an hour to get the equivalent of 40 t-shirts clean and all while using 50% less energy than a standard A rated model. Wow.

The list of wash cycles is second to none, too. Whatever fabric or colour, there’s the perfect, protective wash to match. A real customer favourite is the Anti-crease programme. The drum movements loosen and detangle your clothes so when you’re running the iron over them, the wrinkles just drop right out. A brilliant way to save time and effort on your chores.

This looks pretty decent - with 3 young kids to wash for and the duvet option I'm fairly close to buying this. Anyone recommend anything similar to this for a final comparison?

Curry have beko 8kg slightly cheaper £199 free delivery and disposal. £20 connection

I've ordered mine

Link to the currys one?

The Curry's one doesn't seem to be the same model. 1300 spin, not sure if it has the 2kg, 14 min wash either - just looking now.

Oh, it does have 14 min wash but not as energy efficient overall.

Does it come with a warranty?

Also how does the cold water feed work?

My current hotpoint takes hot water (i think)

Ordered this from Boots in the end for the Advantage Points. Arrives on Tues 30th - can't wait!

It looks like a really good machine for the money and very economical, heres hoping it lives up to the great reviews

Bought too. From boots

Mine arrived today. Seems nice. Definately un upgrade to my indesit cack.

How does this work if your current washer takes a hot water input?

I bought this about 2 weeks ago , paid £249. But have since had it priced matched. First thing I've bought from AO very impressed with their service.
Washer is fab! Best I've ever had. Been without for a while though, so maybe I would say that.
I was struggling to find one that would wash a full wash in less than 2/3 hours. This one does a full 8kg load on 40 in 38 mins. Or 28 mins on 30 degrees. Haven't used many washes yet. Mainly the 38 min one but even that the temperature and spin speed are adjustable.glad I held out until I found this one . No complaints yet.
The one at currys is 8kg but it's 1300 spin so isn't the same model. This ones 1400 spin. Very quiet , very impressed.
