any warranty?
Won’t work. Do you do it on the coop website or hit buy it now on eBay??
What about Beko DTGC7000W
This is a newer model (built in Sep17)
At same price.
We took a punt on Beko's first condenser tumble dryer model some years ago. Fantastic unit for a fraction of the price of leading brands at the time. Still going strong after daily use (3 kids).
The best thing about condenser dryers is that your clothes never seem to get hot in the process, just dry.
purchased, thanks OP.

New model is 7kg
I've gone for the DTGC7000W, smaller drum but I wouldn't use a bigger one, TBH don't think there's much between them, being smaller will use a little less electricity ~ 60Kwh/annum.
Even cheaper now at £159.20
I've gone for it...
Delivery early part of next week....
Went with the DCU8230W it seems to have better reviews and if it has a bigger and stronger drum it's going to allow the air to circulate more easily and the belt should hopefully take more punishment when other people load it up. Thanks
Does it come with any warranty?
Vented are more efficient and reliable over time because the condenser doesn't get blocked with fluff. But if you can't have a vented one this is a good price.
I am now £159.99 poorer thanks to this website.
Thanks OP.
got the email from ebay about the 20% off code for co-op-but also go the heads up from this site-thank you

Why not go and have a look
I'm not knocking the deal but there is a lot of bad press out there on Beko as well as Hotpoint, just be careful price is only one consideration. This was reported....

Manufacturer Beko has issued a safety alert for thousands of tumble dryers over concerns they could burst into flames, including one model found to have caused a blaze that killed a mother of two.

The company said it would be recalling five models, including the DCS85W – responsible for at least 20 blazes as well as the death in February 2016 of Mishell Moloney.

The move comes five years after Beko announced a recall on its smaller 6kg and 7kg capacity dryers thought to have caused a string of other fires. The alert also comes amid growing concern about the fire risks of tumble dryers and other domestic white goods.

Beko said 3,450 of its condenser tumble dryers could pose a fire risk owing to an overheating component. The manufacturer has begun a voluntary repair programme “as a precautionary measure”.

Thanks for the heads up. The recall says it's for models maufactured over a 6 month period in 2012 so it's long since been rectified. Also, they are doing the right thing in locating the affected models and correcting the fault.

We actually own one of the affected models (bought after the period) and have been very pleased with it's performance and use it all the time. Tumble dryers will collect fluff so they do need regular cleaning and it's always necessary to read the manual and follow the manufacturers instructions for safe use.
Probably isolated but our budget Beko condenser was appalling, had to get a Beko engineer out 3 times before they identified that it was a faulty heating element. Eventually got it sorted but a load of messing about.

Our matching washing machine had similar issues which they eventually replaced too.

After that they worked for a year before the dryer started shorting out the kitchen and the washing machine started leaking intermittently.

Gone with Samsung now and not looked back since.
Bought a few weeks ago new from Curry’s for £99.
IMHO Beko produce the best tumble dryers I’ve had to date, and ive has a fair few!
Have bought some of the leading brands in the past and Beko wins hands down, even with regular usage.

Brilliant.
Its little bit slow but works fine so far.
Doesn't post to Northern Ireland so saving made..,Result!, Hot! Although it needs to be too dry clothes
As a mum of 6 I always highly reccommend Beko dryers. Never had major issues with them. Though I tend to buy via Currys for the product cover which will keep going as long as you have the appliance. Had 1 pcb replaced and a couple of heating elements but it's usually done quickly or written off after so many days and you get a voucher towards another one. Had 1 written off and was surprised they gave me my actual spend in vouchers for a new one. After having it for like 4 years. I'd buy another if mine couldn't be repaired.

Irrelevant if you 'defluff' regularly.
