Been looking for a decent replacement tumble dryer from a decent brand and good size. Found this from PRC direct. Cheapest around (sells from £160 upwards to £215 from other retailers).

Is £119 but unfortunately need to get delivery on top at £19.95 unless you live in the Ilford, Essex area but even with delivery, still cheaper. Lots of good features and high spec machine. Compared to all other dryer deals at the moment, you'll only get cheapest White Knight/Bosh at this price, all with fewer functions.

The 7kg drum inside the DRVS73W makes it a great size for a 3 or 4 person home. For wet clothes each kilo works out to around 3 T-shirts, so this model will get through the equivalent of 21 T-shirts at once.

With 15 programmes, using both timed and sensor drying, this simple Beko model is extremely well equipped. Its not flashy, though the easy to understand design means its a doddle to use. Sensor drying means the cycle automatically finishes when your clothes are dry enough. You can choose options for locking in moisture to help with ironing, or bone dry for throwing them into your cupboard.

The other cycles are timed options; ideal for people who want to know exactly when their clothes are ready to be removed. With the delay timer you can delay the start of the tumble dryer for 3, 6, or 9 hours - great if you want to take advantage of cheaper electricity rates during the night.

The reverse action drum helps reduce the amount of creases by preventing your clothes from becoming tangled together. This not only reduces the amount of time you have to spend by the ironing board, it also means some clothes wont even need to be ironed at all.

Also, 3% quidco which tracks on entire price it seems - Mine tracked at £4.17

"decent brand"[citation required]

Beko dryers are notorious deathtraps... this latest incident was just a couple of weeks ago: peterboroughtoday.co.uk/new…162

Be careful! Check the website out for safety information. Check it is not one of the dangerous models. I bought one from comet when it shut down. This is only a good deal if its safe!!

For some reason I'm getting a vision of Tom Jones singing "Burning down the house". Anyone know why??

If you buy one of these, for goodness sake, make sure your house insurance is up to date.

The faulty goods are the Condenser Dryers built during Aug-Oct-12, and Fridges Built in the early 2000's

These items are safe, checked and never had any claims of being faulty. But yes, insurance is fine :-)

Tried to buy it but it wants to charge me £59.95 for standard delivery - not such a bargain then is it
