Ive got this same make and even though its a condensor dryer it still manages to turn my laundry room into a steam room!
a number of the Beko range did well in the Which review for tumble driers not sure if this was one of them. Although Beko did take some general bad press earlier in the year for a number of product recalls.

I bought the Zanussi ZDC68560W Condenser Tumble Dryer, 8kg in the end for £299 - more money but more piece of mind , this also did well in the review and was not a ridiculous amount of money as some of the best buys were.
I got the DSC64W a couple of weeks ago for £199 from Currys.( Pretty much the same dryer but with a smaller 6kg capacity). The 64 is a which best buy (they didn't test this model) and I have to say I am well impressed. Clothes dry in half the time of my old dryer and the sensor settings allow for different levels of dryness which is useful. Another great feature is the ability to bypass the bottle that collects all the water from the condenser and plumb it straight onto a drain. This is pretty straight forward to do and results in not having to empty the water every few dries.

This is Hot for an 8kg.
Ordered, thanks!
Looking at the beko website I'd lay money that this exclusive to currys dryer is identical to the dcU8230W but with a different cosmetic (like the door) finish. All the specs, sizes, buttons, energy consumption ete etc are the same. The dcU8230W is currently £229 at so this look like a good saving to me.
