Bought a Beko washing machine from Coop Electrical on Ebay on Friday.9K drum and 1400 spin for £199.Delivered.This is not a bad deal. You get very good service from Coop Electrical as it was delivered this morning.Tuesday.Hot.
Beko are good, a friend of mine runs hers every day for years.

One day it stopped working, I reseated the cables & carbon brushes on the motor, and it started working again, something had just gone loose over time. So they are serviceable.

Like with most white goods there's no middle market anymore, it's either a £200 Beko or a £1000 Samsung.
Looking for a new washer because my Beko, same model as above being honest but black. It decided to pack in one day, three year old and gonna cost more than what I paid for it because Beko parts are hard to come by.
I changed 2 for last month, finally bought Samsung .
We bought Beko's identical looking (now discontinued) 7kg 1500 rpm spin speed model (WMB71543W) 18 months ago and so far, it has not missed a beat. This deal's model doesn't have the brushless Prosmart inverter motor like mine but Beko washing machines are consistently well-rated in customer reviews and from past experience, paying more for a washing machine does not guarantee longevity anyway. We use Beko's full load quick wash program set to 30 degrees most of the time as our clothes are rarely more than lightly soiled before washing though we also use laundry cleanser added to the last rinse to just help make it that little bit more effective. My one slight quibble is that Beko's stated quick wash and short wash programme times do not include the time it takes to initially fill the machine with water or to refill between cycles (the countdown timer stops during these stages), so in reality, from start to finish, it always takes around 10 minutes longer to wash than the programme times quoted by Beko.

Not true. Of course there's a middle market. £400 will buy you a high quality LG Washing Machine. They were ranked No 1 in a Which? reliability survey beating the likes of Bosch, Miele and AEG. That £400 washer has an extremely reliable and quiet patented Direct Drive inverter motor coupled by high build quality. I am on my third LG. The last two lasted 9 years of daily use before the bearings wore out with nothing going wrong whatsoever in those 9 years. For me, the mid range is the way to go because you get the perfect balance of quality, specification, reliability and longevity but not paying too much for features you don't need.

Looks like a good price for this one. I just bought a Candy with very similar specs (1kg smaller) and it set me back £250.
