Your opinion - contrary to proper surveys from the likes of Which? Best budget brand.
to be honest i would not recommend anybody to buy this as there is not that much room in it to put food, we have one and you end up struggling to put your chilled stuff away, the drinks thing takes up way to much space and also sounds like a bloody cow 24/7 mooing lol.

Looks like the same model we got from Currys for £249 last year. No complaints about space, noise or reliability so far...

I recently had a Beko dishwasher that constantly broke down. After 3 main circuit boards with the last one lasting just one cycle Beko agree to refund my money. Now have a more expensive but brilliant Bosch
Bought a similar model a couple years ago and has been fantastic. Replaced a Hoover/Candy model which was appalling. As stated though the water dispenser does take up some room in the door which means there is a two tier shelf arrangement in the main body to allow for more tall bottles. I think mine was only £229 at Argos and used various other offers/discounts at the time to get a sub £200 price. It is frost free and looks identical to this one.

I'm not up to date with Which as their reports are behind a paywall but a few years ago (when I bought my fridge) they were by far the best on price/reliability. Don't assume a more expensive brand is more reliable often they are not. My mother has a Samsung model that seems very good but is much noisier than mine. In fact really noisy at times.

If you want to be sure perhaps do a Which trial and see who are currently rated the best budget brand but I'll be surprised if its not still Beko. Looks like the trial is £1.

A sample of one is real hassle for you but means nothing statistically. Bosch great too (unless is one of the cheper ones with the horrible plastic interior) but not a 'budget' buy.
Had a big 700 wide Beko fridge freezer for about 10 years, it got noisy for a wile but kept going and was still going strong and had quietened down when we sold it with the house so have no trouble recommending their stuff
Good to see it has a Flame Retardant Metal Back too.

The cheapest Beko ones have the plastic interior not Bosch.
Would rather pay net £10 more to not have the space wasting drinks dispenser

I don't think so. I've never seen a BEKO one with a plastic interior but all the cheaper Bosch ones have it - in fact that's put me off buying one as some reports suggest the plastic can taint the contents. I recently installed a £199 BEKO and it had an all stainless interior.

Where are you getting your information from? Can you offer any evidence in support?

We have this fridge - or certainly looks just like it.

No issues in 2 years. It's not the biggest, and we don't use the drink thing either but it was cheap and does a decent job.
Water dispenser is waste of space. I rather have ice dispenser instead like they have in Pizza Hut , Nandos and other restaurants.

They are great but most will need plumbing in,and take up even more space in the fridge compartment
Can a fridge freezer be ‘fantastic’!?
I agree with those advising against buying Beko appliances. My Beko fridge freezer had a faulty control panel on arrival and the ice maker has broken twice. Each repair took about 3 visits. My Beko tumble dryer's PCB burnt out and after 3 months of trying to repair it they took it away and gave me a refund.
I've had two Beko fridge freezers. First one I left with my previous house after seven years use and was perfect with no problems. I bought another which has been going for 16 years no problem. From my experience I would buy Beko again.

You are always going to get both good and bad stories about any brand which is why its important to try and find out reliability information gathered from a wide audience like the which reliability surveys so you can get a realistic viewpoint. Beko were scoring very highly a couple years ago but not seen the recent reports. One important difference between my Beko fridge freezer and my last Hoover/Candy model is the Beko actually works really well. I had a lot of spoilage with the Hoover model as it struggled to keep things frozen on a hot day and needed some cleaning occasionally to keep it working. No issues at all with the Beko you just forget about it almost as it just does it job. That's not to say there aren't better models out there but there most certainly is worse by a long way. Of course my experience may not be typical as I'm only one person and people need to realise the same of their individual experience.

Because I was looking at them in store. Bosch are a premium brand and you don't get plastic interiors with them
Beko are the leading light with there freezer guard technology which is worth noting. It is a go to brand if you want to store your freezer in the garage or outbuildings were other brands fall well short.
