I'm a light sleeper.

Beko did have issues with some models of fridge freezers manufactured between 2000 and 2006 which they recalled for repair or disposal. It's now 2013.

If its anything like my carp Beko dishwasher it wont work for long enough to catch fire.

Or like mine it will just leak enough water constantly to put any fires out.

Can't get it to work

After about 10 attempts got it to work to the measure and realise the depth on these is a lot bigger than your average appliance and will stick out like a sore thumb!

@740mm its not as deep as many equivalent style fridge freezers tbh.

The website was working fine for me earlier and seems to be ok now.

Having been living as tenant in furnished houses for 5 years i missed having a proper fridge. Nice one OP

That's why it's a hot deal!

The much nicer looking Samsung versions are often posted on here for under £500. I know which one I'd choose!

Ditto - my dishwasher broke after 5 days. Not impressed.

Can we use 25% code on any appliance/ fridge freezer?

Currently sat with a broken fridge/freezer just waiting for one to come up. The Samsungs also come with a 5 year warranty.

I also think you're better off without the mains supplied water, can these be filled manually if not connected?

Surely no one in their right mind would would spend £457.49 on a beko product. So you`re tempted by the size and perhaps the stainless steel. This sort of money will buy you a decent brand where your food will stay fresh for so much longer. I'd much prefer to have a smaller reliable brand and one that isn't likely to explode or catch fire.

When you say under £500 and often, which ones are you talking about - hotukdeals.com/sea…dge? Apart from the excellent Makro deal I don't see any in this price range.

I'll have to get this when I move into my new place

This is a manufacturer thats puts colour of the appliance before safety. If you dont mind the almost certain breakdown, please make sure your smoke alarm is working

Mmmm, 'stainless steel look'! Is it actually SS? I doubt it at that price, as most true SS units start nearer the £1000 mark. You see this marketing plot a lot with these type of fridges, as most have to be purchased on-line and so the first you know of it, is when it turns up at your door.
92.5 is one of the wider sizes you will get - many sit around 91.2cm. Not a big issue unless you are trying to fit it into a small space, as i have to. Bear in mind that you may need to leave a small air gap around the unit for air circulation as well - perhaps these models 'really' need this, hence the comments about fire hazard??
Was looking at Beko Heat Pump dryer recently and they were getting very good customer reviews on that front, but cannot comment about their other stuff.

And according to some news I read, they are now 2nd after Siemens in sales.

I've got a Beko fridge freezer, its actually one of this model but with a cold water dispenser rather than the ice dispenser. I would say we chose our model over this one as the ice dispenser takes up a lot of freezer space. So far, no one has died, but keep up the comments about the fires please, coz they keep Beko products cheap and I want a new dishwasher.

Easy tigers! you lot can be harsh. The OP has found a decent deal on a well reviewed fridge freezer. Take it easy, find a better one for cheaper, post it on here and get some heat. Simples. (_;)

The 5-year warranty at £140 might be a consideration, bearing in mind some of the comments on here!? Not much help if it has burnt your house down, although there will be enough space in the fridge to act as a temporary shelter for you and your family - assuming it is switched off of course!

I've had a Beko freezer for the past 3 years and not had a single problem with it. My niece has a Samsung one and it constantly sounds like a lawn mower whereas my Beko is almost silent. A guy called to look at the Samsung as it is only a few months old and he said the noise was normal. I know what brand my next freezer or fridge will be and it doesn't start with a 'S'

I'm about to replace my Samsung for the second time - should have known better after the first one died within 3 years, the second one is not quite 3 years old and dying. Will never buy a Samsung again. Customer service is appalling too.

Think you need to put membership number in first. I ordered a fridge freezer and cooker using this code for just under £450 delivered. Would have got this fridge but don't have the space.

Looks huge that Fridge Freezer. Ah, it's American. I see.

I have this fridge/freezer. Really happy with it.
The beauty of this one is that it you will actually be able to get it through the door(s) into your kitchen. Many of the yank style fridges you would need to take a door frame, wall or window out.

Bought this model and we all love it. Great storage and the drinks / ice maker at this price is a real bonus.

yep in America everything is big...even the mental asylums

So does the code works or its just gets heat for nothing? Looks real bargain at this price

No more Beko for me. Their products poorly made and may explode.

Recently bought a similar model (no ice dispenser just water) and we had to take off the doors of the fridge freezer and take apart one o the kitchen counters to get the thing in.
BUT once we got it in it has been great, would never go back or change my mind, it works perfectly.

COLD this is cheaper!
