Don't know about this but we have a BEKO washing machine and it is excellent far better than the Philips it replaced

Is it at Argos or Asda?

Your post says Asda in the title & then Argos in the description.

Argos or Asda ?

Would never buy a beko machine again. 2 machines we have had in the past 4 years, all having the same malfunction with the computer panel. need to wait weeks to get the part from Turkey as well, which is impossible to do as we have 2 boys and the machine is required every day.

Great find OP.You can't go wrong really as it will come with 12 months Parts & Warranty too

My Beko was absolutely dreadful. Lasted all of 2 months before the bearings went. Cheap for a reason.

Supposed to say Argos not sure why it was changed to Asda

We have a Beko but without the electronic panel and never had a problem. Also have a dryer. Friend has a different make but with panel and it's gone twice.

Mine's still going strong after about 11-12 years

I've never noticed being able to get 'instore' deals at Argos? Can anyone confirm they have?!

i really think you should use a bath or shower for children.

Mine was awful never again! ended up buying another 8 month later

never had a beko washing machine before, but I had one of their TVs' which only lasted 12 months with light use and a beko fridge freezer which lasted just past the warranty period before the thermostat went. The price of this machine is good though so heat for that

Sounds terrible if you ask me. Too many electronics to go wrong.

I have this washer paid more than this for it. It's fab not had any problems!

I have this washer, on all the time for over 3 years.

No problems, highly recommended.

My beko 1000 spin 2 yrs old never had a problem used every day

Did you not check out the spare parts cost via whitegoods forum?

What the heck are you washing to use it every day yesterdays clean clothes? if you buy the cheapest there is then you honestly cannot grumble too much when it only lasts 1/5 of the span of a more reputable model / brand.

BTW folks whilst on the subject of washing / drying clothes, ALWAYS find out whether a modern unit (ie tumble drier) has a "1 shot" thermostat on it, costly repair / replacement. http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/spare-parts/3264-tumble-dryer-thermostats.html

"Tumble Dryer Overheat Thermostat

The overheat thermostat is a safety device in effect. It is designed to cut the power to either the heating element or the entire tumble dryer if it is activated. Normally this would be a case of breaking the live supply to the heater or dryer thereby preventing further heat and, the possibility of a fire by shutting down the dryer's ability to generate further heat when it gets too hot.

These thermostats are normally closed allowing the circuit to be completed and the tumble dryer to operate and, when faulty or tripped, be open circuit. Again, these can be diagnosed quickly and easily with a multimeter and without any mains power being required at all.

These thermostats will usually come in three possible flavours, a self-resetting thermostat that, when it cools off will reset back to the default (normally closed) position allowing power once more to operate the tumble dryer.

The most common next type of tumble dryer overheat thermostat are the non-resetting kind which are most common in the Hotpoint and Indesit tumble dryers. This type of thermostat does not and will not reset, it is known commonly as a one-shot device, that is to say that, if activated it cuts the dryer or dryer heating element out and must be replaced before the tumble dryer will operate normally once more"

First step when a modern appliance reports a fault code!?

My washing machine is reporting a fault code, what do I do?
A fault code, usually displayed by way of either a seemingly meaningless letter and number combination or a series of flashing lights (LEDs) is intended to offer service personnel an insight to the nature of the problem. They do not pinpoint the fault and are not a replacement for diagnostic skills.

What they will do is point to the general area of the fault but it is very worthwhile taking the time to check that you have a good water supply and the filter is clear etc. before you decide to go further or call an engineer.

Fault codes are very varied from manufacturer to manufacturer and even from model to model so there is little else that can be offered as general advice other than it is worth searching the forums for reports of similar fault code reports.

Most modern washing machine and washer dryer models use such fault reporting.

Calling an engineer is costly, there is every chance that you can fix it yourself with many modern appliances if you bother to learn a little bit, the white goods forum folk are my 1st point of call for any fault on kit these days, my past three appliance repairs have cost me a grand total of £14 & around an hour wombling around them total, ..more time spent taking a panel off than the actual repair / correction & clean up.

Can't fault Beko stuff, had this washer for 3 years and a fridge freezer for 5, no problems yet, touch wood. Better than my entire Hotpoint kitchen package where everything packed up after 12-18 months.

I've had this machine before and paid £379 for it I believe three ish years ago. it's excellent. It's got a quick 15 min watch for when you just need the odd top or larger washes. the drum is huge so you end up using less wash cycles than you may have previously.

well worth the Money.

The link is also Asda?

Can confirm that ARGOS, LUTON (next to Toys R Us) have 2 left in stock. Thanks op, just moving with nothing, at least I have Washing Machine now!!!

put 2 bekos in properties I rent out...18 months on, no issues and im sure they get a pretty hard life

This is a terrible product, not fit for purpose. It looks out of place on the worktop and my lasagne was all soggy, lukewarm admittedly but still soggy.

Hot price for an 8kg machine if you can find one.
Voted hot btw.

Fab price would be great for anyone in desperate need as going the laundrette would soon add up and buying from places like brighthouse this would only cover about 3mths payments!

Beko is a great brand for washing machines. Most of the other brands are made in China or in Chinese factories. My first Beko lasted 8 years with heavy everyday use. Now on the second model as needed a higher RPM for dryer clothes.

Sorry cannot resist

Cold not Samsung. If it was a phone we would have had the cold not Iphone comments even though a fraction of the price.

Anyway on a serious note we have had a Beko washing machine and fridge freezer and they are quite ****

And anyone buying one make sure you take the bolts out the back unlike the numnuts from Comet who installed our washing machine in August and left them in for us to then have the brand nw machine jumping around the kitchen. Now replaced anyway as it was dented and did not look like it was brand new.

I have this exact model purchased over 2 years ago, never had any issues, great price IMO

I have this exact machine Beko eco.. its an A+++ rated efficiecy and it rated very highly by AO.com

ao.com/pro…spx

I'm desperate for a washing machine. Can anyone confirm its definitely argos, before I go and make a pillock of myself? oO

bubbs

Mine was awful never again! ended up buying another 8 month later

why did you not use the 12 month guarantee

Mothers just gotten an Lg WITH 10 YR WARRANTY PARTS 5 YEARS IS PARTS AND LABOUR.

A rating on all aspects of it, 1400 spin and 8kg load from memory. £370 in White!
