I didn't know they still did washers with spin speeds that slow!

Don't ever buy a cheap washing machine, it's a false economy. Get a Miele or a Bosch.

Nothing worse than it breaking 1 week out of warranty, and spending £80 to get it fixed, whilst wearing dirtier and dirtier clothes.

ive got a beko fridge and a beko freezer
both bought together 13 years ago (1995)
fridge still going strong but freezer just knackered
so going by that cant be too bad

My Beko tumble drier last for 3 uses before the motor went, Beko engineer came out and told me I used it too often(lol) after getting trading standards involved and 23 phone calls they finally told me that the model I had purchased was being withdrawn as a fire hazard. Was told by an independent trading standards engineer "Beko white goods are great if they have no moving parts! " They are made in Turkey and often turn out to be one!

Beko are no worse than anything else -- and a damn sight better than the Italian junk littering the market (Candy/Indesit/Hotpoint/Creda/Hoover etc etc). Cheaper to fix when they do go wrong as well.

Yes they're no Miele/Siemens/Bosch (although a lot of Bosch kit is now made in Spain and no better than the run-of-the-mill frankly) but they're not as bad as folk make out.

I was going to post an entry for this myself as it has had a reallygood review in the latest issue of Which? magazine. They say it is cheap to run, washes well, is easy to use and rinses better than machines costing £200 more. It's not the most sophisticated machine in the world, but if you just want a basic washing machine, then this is one to go for. Also you can buy it slightly cheaper at the CO-OP Electrical shop £159.99 inc. delivery.
