I've been keeping an eye after having to unplug my Hotpoint washer after a threat of a burnt out shell of a house.

This seems like a good deal and is powered by ao. Is an extra £50 from them though!

This Beko washer dryer’s large capacity means it can wash 35 adult T-shirts and dry up to 15 in one go. There’s a really speedy programme which will wash and dry 1kg of clothes in under an hour. It’s just the thing if you need to refresh the kids’ unifrom or your work clothes in the morning. This model doesn’t use as much water as others thanks to the clever motor, which is why it has an A for energy efficiency. It also means it’s quieter and gives better results

I bought one of these. A great washing machine, but the dryer function is terrible.
Better to get a cheaper deal in a washer only.
To be honest I was looking for a washer and if it's got even half decent dryer I feel like I'd be winning
Hoping for a good deal on a decent washer dryer before the new year

Since it takes three dryer loads to cope with a single load of washing it isn't "half decent". These machines are for people who don't have the space for a tumble dryer. Which? say it has a poor rinse and inaccurate drying.

Which review
You won't have any complaints about the way this machine washes and removes stains, but the drying programs leave clothes damp at the end of the cycle.

What is it?

This is a freestanding washer-dryer with average rinsing and drying. The door has a wide-opening and this makes loading large items a bit easier.

It comes with the standard digital display to show how much time is left to run on wash programs, and there's a delay timer that allows you to set it to wash at a time that's convenient for you. You'll also be able to lock the control panel to avoid little fingers accidentally switching the machine on or changing the settings.

What's it great at?

As a washing machine it's great at removing stubborn stains from clothes, whether they're made of cotton or synthetic fibres, and it spins water away effectively.

Is there anything I should watch out for?

The rinse function's fairly poor at getting rid of detergent , so you could find your laundry is left with soapy residue.

Drying speeds aren't bad, but we have seen better. The main problem is that in our tests this Beko left clothes too damp at the end of the drying cycle.  You'll have to add extra time to make sure that the whole load is dry, which could become a chore.

Is there anything else I should know?

It uses a lot of water and energy, so isn't very environmentally friendly.

Should I buy it?

No. A good washer-dryer needs to both wash and dry well in order to be worth considering, and this one only impressed on the cleaning part.

Thanks for this. Which machines did they recommend?

Thanks for this. Which machines did they recommend?

You mean which washer/dryer? Which? and others point out they are primarily space savers and none of the reviewed machines, even ones that cost £1700, are as good as Best Buy separates. Bit like the old hi-fi days.
Cheers, need a new washer dryer and dont require anything amazing so this will do
Can anyone reccomend a good washer/dryer please
